can i propose mssc to have a simple training program for those regular members who ride on weekly basis? as it will be quite a waste of time if the new rider just ride on the trak without any guideline and direction, unless he or she is just another recreational riders who doesnt care about lap time, like me.

eg, have a record book, with the name of all newbie riders in it.

say for trail class rider, or mx class etc

the rider will be taught on diffeent technique each mth, and by end of the mth, we will record down the timing, base from a allocated trail route or on the mx trak. (say every 4 weeks, there will be a timing record for each rider)

so from here, we can see if there is any improvement, base from the timing recorded. and if mssc have enuff man power, a curve can be plot against the timing, to see the progress.

for this, i believe those riders who are interested to improve their riding techniques and cut down lap time, will help them a great deal. and it will be good for them to do record down their lap time and it will definately motivate them further if improvement is shown.

just my 2 cents. :cheeky:

hi bro ulysses_sc

mayb ya wanna check with ya riding mates who is interested to sign up?

perhap we can do a list of interested riders

so that mssc can cater different riding level, on different discipline?

it will greatly depend on the numbers of participants intersted and the training program will have to design accordingly, of coz, there shld b some kind of limitataion of the numbers of student per class.

:)

eg

me - novice, mx

her - novice, trail

etc

etc.

hi,rookie!

yes,dat would be a good idea. than we can focus more on the rider needs n a higher instructor to pupil ratio!

Unfortunately, I belong well into the old uncles category, and most of my dirt riding kakis have moved on long ago. MX is something I've always wanted to try, but the lack of instruction and fear of crashing have kept me away.

If someone is willing to impart riding tips and instructions, it will be very beneficiary to those who wants to get into the sport, but are intimated by those jumps.

If you guys don't mind an old uncle trudging along, that will be great.
