vtec problem!

hi. Pls advice.

Im riding vtec 1. Once i open my vtec at 6.5k rpm bike have zzzing sound. On road or on neutral gear. The sound came only at 6.5k to 7k rpm. I try hold at 6.5k the sound still came. Sometime loose?

vtec only open at 7k rpm for vtec 1 ... the sound might be due to the vibration of the bike...dun need worry.. happens to most of the bikes.... change better engine oil next service... MOTUL 300v !!!

thank. I new on this bike.. I jus change my engine oil 2 days back, castrol simi 3.5 x $12 per liter And change a oil filter. Is the engine oil i change not good? So how much the engine oil MOTUL 300v cost? Thank. Im happier now!

Semi-syn oil is average loh.

Try full-syn oil. Castrol R4 is about $20. Can last 5K mileage

got zzz sound mayb there is something in ur curb.. better go bike shop check it out..

wat i can say i best to go motordiam to ask them to check out for u.. ask they will noe exactly wat's the problem .. zzz sound can cause by many possiblility unless u wan to spend money on all the possible problem or u wan to save money by asking mechanic to pin point the problem for u ..

The 'zzzzz' sound can mean many things.....cou;d you identify where that sound comes from. If from the back, check your chain, it maybe a little loose. Juz need to tighten it. S4 got this prob one....always oil your chain regularly.

 

If from engine, could be many things. Maybe the crashbar (if you have 1). If not, its the famous Cash Card Reader plastic cover cap. It does vibrate with sound at high speed. Try holding the Cash Card cover with one hand and see if the sound disappear.

Mmmm. i think i go to bike shop to check.

cos the zzzz sound only came when rpm hits 6.5k and after 7k the zzzz sound gone..

could be something loose....never tighten properly....get a mech to chk the bike properly.....

motul 300v now beyond 25 bucks already...personally i don find castrol good anymore...can try silkolene race. the red color one..comparable to 300v but price still holding 20-25 bucks.

today going to bike shop for checking but the zzzz sound seems to be gone.
