itz a FD plate.. got it @ HKL actualy. i got frenz who do their c70 in jb but i dun seem to hav the time to go there... i wld like to go to bikeshops that specialized in old bikes...

I got my Cub for only $500 at Yew Tee Industrial estate. Its a C70D not a C70. The Cub at Balestier cost $3000 i think.

FYI, the mod can be modded into a 'bicycle' in JP n Thailand. Check tis out!!!!

Hi Guys,

 

I'm looking for a C70. Someone pinched my vespa last week. Since I'm pretty crippled without a bike, I was thinking of getting a cheap and reliable Cub(not the new one). C70 seem to fit the bill. square or round head, doesn't matter too much I guess.

 

Any ideas if there's any bike shops I can get a look at?

Myself. The seat wrap is at Eugene's. I n still figuring it out which bike shop can i go for modding.

Hi, I managed to get myself a C70D. It's manufactured in 1985. But it is in terrible condition. Will lay it up for a while and when I have money.... will fix it up to be road worthy first...hopefully I can manage to save up some money later and restore it!

Alright guys, need help for directions to a good bike shop which have skilled mechanics in doing Honda Cub C70D. The cub cannot start or move at all and it's engine needs to be overhaulled & cone rods need to be changed to make it move....not including restoring the fairings, headlights, signals & overall outlook. I wonder $800 enough to do up the whole bike to look new or not

Honda Cubs C50/70/70D/90 parts and repairs,

Preserving the greatest bike of all time

 

 

Whether being named the greatest bike of all times is an under or overstatement... the Honda Cubs 50/70/90s have been around for almost or more than 20 years by now. They have since evolved into many variations and designs by different manufacturers as well all based on the same simple concept.

 

There are still a small handful of enthusiasts willing to restore or at least keep this little bike going for many more years to come.

I dunno if I have the time, money or perseverance to carry out a little restoration project on my newly bought C70D but anyway, let this thread be a good guide as to:

 

1) Where to get the engine & bike parts, and accesories of the Honda Cub C50/70/90s?

2) Where to repair / overhaul and restore Honda Cubs? and

3) Where to send the bike for paintwork?

I bought my FD C70D for $500 n the condition is superb. There is two place tat i wld recommend to repair the Cub, Hamilton Rd n Joon Seng @ Yew Tee Industrial Estate.

 

I weigh 85 kg n my cub can ran a max of 70km/h.

beautiful!! fully restored...but the IU unit looked ugly on it!
