First... congrats on passing on your TP...

Second... do bring the safety that you learnt at the centre out here in the main roads and exp way... You are no longer sheltered by the instructors... Its rather a dangerous world out here.. Be alert and Ride safe...

Thirdly, choosing a wave as a first bike isn't such a bad idea..

Common things to look out for:

1.Look for any visable damage on the bike itself. (My advice is to veiw the bike in a lighted area or during the day.)

2.Test ride the bike and hear for any unsually sound emmitting from the engine. (Get a friend who have experience in buying a bike to go along.)

3.Check the alignment of the handle bar, the effectiveness of the brakes, threads of the tire and condition of the rims.

One good thing about taking a wave is that the parts are relatively cheap compared to other bikes and parts are readily available...

hope my info helps... Take care and ride safe..
