Its internal memory is 8GB , u can bump up the memory to 16GB via the addition of an 8GB memory card via the memory card slot .

Actually 56k color screen us sufficient liao . Unless one is playing higher defination videos on it .

Nope the Samsung Omnia sold in Singapore has 16GB internal storage ... I bought mine from M1 and it has 16gb internal storage plus a external 2gb mini-sd which holds the GPS software... the GPS software is free for use for a period and then after ... you got to subscribe...

I went to Starhub and look see look see ... they also selling the Omnia 16GB ...

There are two model for Omnia... 8GB and 16GB .... so far I see that most HP shops in Singapore are selling 16GB version.

As for color... it is good enough .... taking photos is clear ... I am amazed at the quality and the functions that the camera has ... almost similar functions that can be found in typical digital cameras ...

Playback of videos are clear enough... for such a small screen... I seldom watch video on it... just for testing ... I did watch a few clips I downloaded from the web and it seems ok ... no complain from me for the color display.

Only a couple of complains I have is that the bundle does not come with the TV output cable... have to go down to Samsung dealer to get it...

Battery life... if you're using software on the go(i.e. GPS, music player, surfer web...) will drain the battery really fast... and the bundle dun come with a spare battery.... and worst of all... most HP shop dun sell the Samsung battery... becos it is relatively new model... have to head down to Samsung dealer to get the spare battery...(in my case... I invested in a emergency charger to charge my samsung Omnia... if I ever encounter low batt while on the go)

Hope all the info above helps...

if i m using the software is it free.. sorry i m noob wit this smart phone..

is tere any other free software to dw and install..

I'm using Garmin Mobile XT ... it has 3D route and the best thing is ... the map updates are free ... can download from MalSing forum .... the built in GPS software is too tedious to use ... took me sometime to figure out ... but in the end... I dun like the software and installed the Garmin Mobile XT ...

For Garmin Mobile XT ... either you need to link to a bluetooth GPS receiver or you need to purchase the software to unlock it to use the i900 internal GPS receiver ... the software is free to download and free to use with a pairing bluetooth receiver...

I have tested the battery life for I900 using GPS ... it can clocked the most 3.5 hours before the battery run flat ... so I guess I900 is not meant for navigation purposes ... but rather let you know where you are when you're lost ... Be aware... prolong usage of GPS will heat up the base of your I900 ... this is what I have noticed ... when I took out the I900 from the HP cradle... the I900 is kinda hot...

Samsung hp is well known for draining batteries

If u use for normal eg calls n sms might last for maybe 18hrs

if u use GPS say from spore to KL will last u half a day

videos and mp3 via touch player? will last approx 2 hours
