I just went today... they started the charging for cars... certain time to certain timing.... $2/-... blah blah blah...

For bikers

There is a security officer just before the entrance of the carpark.. I ask if can park, he say the ERP sensor thingy cannot scan bike... as such will not open for bike... Ask if can squeeze thru the barrier, he say no space...etc.. He say all bikes go park at the loading/unloading bay there... so is consider free till further notice... the loading/unloading bay is parked anyhow kind...

while shopping, went to take a look at the barrier of the mscp, there is a small gap at the barrier, maybe about 50-60cm? so is kinda hard to squeeze thru even if the security officer allowed..

p.s: the mscp starts at fifth level, so it is going round and round and round till u reach fifth level... :goodluck:

This carpark is 5 stories up a tight spiral. At the top, there are (or were) a few motorcycle spaces outside the barrier - probably for before the place was open for business. The problem is you can't exit without going through the barrier.

You can still squeeze through the side of the entrance barrier, but you can't get past the exit barrier.

You'd be much better of parking at Merchant Court or the URA carparks around.

He who hesitates is lost!

Same parent company running the malls. So when one starts charging, highly likely that the rest in their stable will, too. Sucks big time...

any alternatives for free parking around the jurong point area?

Yah its free. But i think better think before you park. Consider for the other bikes who maybe going off earlier before you. Sometimes i see those big big bikes have problem going off from their lot.

This thread very long (and very good) but I didn't read through it all, if I need to go to Lido/Taka that area, which is the best place to park for free? Thanks.
