no money liao la. just regretting not getting a tmax. can go back to track... haha.... just look at how much after market stuffs are there got the tmax? thought my burger could make it, but after taking it to track, boring man..... could only enjoy the steptronic when exiting the corners and catching up on the straights.

Developed by Bitubo for the Maxiscooter Italian Trophy, the ABB09 Fork Cartridge Kit for Yamaha T-Max 500 meets the requirements of the fans who don't wish to give up aggressive driving on their Maxi Scooter.

The kit consists of a pair of complete cartridges, pressurised with nitrogen, with the hydraulics totally redesigned for optimum control of the forecarriage.

The top caps, in Ergal 7075, replacing the original ones, now provide for the adjustment of the preloading of the springs, included in the kit, for customised calibration.

Hmm, i still havent clock enough miles on the TMAX to justify any major changes in the rear shocks... but if i were to change, will change the front forks too... might as well lah....

The LeoVince FAST (Fuel/ Ignition Adjustment System Technology) system which makes use of a “dedicated” engine control unit both for the vehicle and the special exhaust system, has reached the first stage in its evolution.

 

Following the system developed for Cross, Enduro and Supermotard bikes, which use single-cylinder 4-stroke carburettor engines, it is the next evolution for scooters that feature electronic injection 4-stroke engines, single and dual cylinder.

 

The kit includes the control unit, the wiring with connectors, CD with relative support software to be installed on the computer.

 

Contrary to the carburettor, the control unit does not replace the original one but joins it, exclusively dealing with bike aspects such as the quantity of petrol, rpm speed, and limiting device intervention.

 

While the standard vehicle control unit continues to control all the other functions (such as ABS and anti-theft device), it may be automatically called on to control the engine also in the event of any faults that might prevent the FAST system from working effectively.

 

Each control unit is mapped, that is, specifically developed for an individual engine; in the case of the two-cylinder versions there are two “maps” designed to better control the two cylinders that, as we know, never operate under the same conditions.

 

The CD supplied in the kit contains a graphic interface which the customer can use to alter the features of the control unit, and consequently the engine response. Once the CD has been installed on the computer, the next step is to simply connect the control unit using a standard USB cable and follow the instructions contained in the manual (in 5 languages) which is provided with the product.

 

It is obviously always necessary to operate in accordance with the logic parameters of proper use so that FAST acts to enhance performance levels without in any way jeopardizing the reliability and durability of the product. It may therefore also be considered as a means of providing further personalization scope or as an instrument to aid the assembly of additional special parts.

 

FAST is not supplied with the LeoVince exhaust systems and must be purchased separately.

LeoVince engineers began to develop a true “system”, which is the integration of an exhaust system and an electronic control box, both specifically configured for each unique motorcycle.

The 4-stroke single-cylinder, carbureted engine, was used as the starting point, which is found in bikes intended for use in Motocross, Supermoto and Enduro.

All of which LeoVince currently offers exhausts for.

In this specific case, the control box actually replaces the existing one and is not fitted in conjunction with the standard one, as it is possible to do on scooters and fuel-injected motorcycles.

 

 

The LeoVince Electronic Systems engineers have designed and produced the FAST control box, completely in-house, in collaboration with the technicians who specialize in the design and construction of LeoVince exhaust systems, thereby obtaining an integrated control box/exhaust system.

 

The control box has been designed to operate in severe conditions resulting from mechanical, thermal and atmospheric (water) stress. TÜV Italy was responsible for all product testing thereby ensuring the impeccable reliability of the product.

 

After passing the bench tests, the final prototypes were distributed to both users and professional riders, so that they could conduct a series of “field tests”. Following the final testing, the product was ready to be introduced on the market.

 

This product represents the first stage in a diversified project, which thanks to an ongoing development program, will also able to provide fuel system solutions for scooters as well as single and multi-cylinder fuel injected motorcycles.

 

FAST is not supplied with the LeoVince X3 exhaust system and must be purchased separately.
