Fine twice at the same day same spot (the cathay)

On the 7 of June, i parked my bike at opposite of the grand cathay because they wont let the bikes into their carpark, and i got a love letter from the police on my bike... it say to wait for a offence letter so i found out from my friend that i will get a fine of S$70. After one week i received the offence letter not one but two... same place same date but different timing... one is 10.55 pm the other is 11.52 pm... does that means i have to pay S$140... how is that possible... this is ridiculous... does anyone ever experience this... what should i do...

try appealing... they might get the fine waived off/ reduced/ or maybe only one...

 

but how come twice same day same location? :giddy:

probably the second policeman did'nt see the fine ticket on my bike...

yeah so much so with the gst offset that they are giving... i think they are taking it back slowly like in this way..

Practically, i must say they are right by doing so.

 

they may do so as many as they want as long as ur bike has been removed from parking illegally so to speak.

yeah but still if u fine me once its ok bro, i can take it.. i learnt my lesson and i'm prepared to pay but this is twice... i just realize its either the first policeman didnt put a notice of fine or someone could have threw it away or wind might blew it away... then soon after came the second policeman and he did'nt see any notice so he booked me again... jeez...

ya.. I believe this should be a duplicated issue of summons.. u should appeal this..

how much is the fine for parking offence by TP?

knn sian la. i park on the footway opposite cathay there where alot of bikes are parked.

come back see a paper clipped on my fuel tank.

and most dulan is that it seems that i am the only bike that kena.

most importantly. can appeal? if so what is the chances? eg saying alot of bikes park cant find any lot and still a student.

Should tell them not to drive car then and ride a bike..:rolleyes:

So suey kana twice ah, by right can appeal successfully, coZ unless u park illegally at two different places then that's another issue, but since u park same place but for different timing juZ tell them ur situation

 

They will most likely waive off... coZ ridiculous wat,if every hr one different officer come give summon then you can use them as toilet paper oreadi haha

Actually, I believe the ruling is that they cannot penalise you for the same parking offence within 24hours. Provided it's at the same spot. Correct me if I'm wrong.
