I think you need more revision practice in riding. Yes I heard many people saying Class 2A/2 is easy to pass TP. They say so because they did it. Some even remarked that TP would go easy on 2a and 2 because we have 2b already. Wrong I would say as proven in your case Rejindar. I went for 3 revision before my TP and yet I still scored a number of points on my riding mistakes. But I am really thankful that the revision built up my confidence for the courses.

Queried Tp - he told me to slow down & be back. Asked instructor they told me not to worry. Now clueless & more importantly lost confidence. I've put a lot of energy into this. I know the circuit well. I've started in in Jan 2013, passed first time in Aug, started 2014 2a passed in 2015 may 2nd time. This year failed again. Learn nothing new. Learning from the Internet now. Riding 1-2 gear below 25kmh on the streets & mscp. I'm bad w failure. Some of y'all have happy endings, my story normally ends otherwise. I'm not gonna give up though. I was told a girl failed 12 times. That would be my benchmark I guess.

 

bro just need to have more practise... n make sure u get very good timing with enuff to spare during ur practise. Cos during TP test we may be a little nervous or extra careful so will unconsciously go faster on the slow stations n go slow on the fast ones.

Honestly, the more you fail, a better (safer) rider you'll be.

 

Some ppl really need a slap in the face to wake up and learn the right thing to do :).

 

For me I fail so much that now I automatically check blind spot when I lane change, even after 15 years. It's a grind down habit that I got after fail and fail and fail...

 

And I was 100% sure one day will pass, so long as I don't give up.

I concur simeone82. TP will still judge you the same for 2A or 2. Only difference is you are limited to only the circuit and you have regular experience of handling a bike. The more you fail the more you spend. The logic is as simple as that. It does not make you a safer rider in anyway. Its logic to know that you must check blindspot when changing lanes especially on a bike. If you do not do so then be prepared to be roadkill. :p

 

However much decades of experience you have you will still get marked for checking blindspots, wobble, delay in moving off and etc. They could not look at you at every second. All it takes is just a blink of an eye and they would have missed what you just did hence the need to go slow. So just relax and go slower than what you would on the public roads. :cool:

I normally do 2-3 revisions 2-3 days before TP. I'm going for my test on the 3rd of October after working overnight. I will be doing revisions on 29,30 & 1 with work on 2nd till the next morning. I can hope for the best. If I don't make it this time, I may have to try next year. Whatever happens will happen for a reason. Maybe it's meant to keep me safe. Anyways thanks for the kind words & encouragement. Ride safe . Will keep you posted.

Failure is part of learning. Cheers. The real challenge is on the road whereby any failure means potential occurrence of accidents. The licence is for you to take, it is only matter of time.

 

Meanwhile for tp high demerit, it typically happens when you make a major mistake, it will signal to the tester that you are not ready. The demerit point will starts to flow like water. Usually when you fail, the demerit point accumulated will be more than 25 points. Or when you pass, the points will be 14 to 18 demerit points. Again, what matters is on the road not just the test.

all the best. Totally remember the days when I was learning at BBDC. Good luck for your third attempt. The joy of riding a bike is totally worth it.
