Bike is using stock Kenda tubeless tires. Its a 2010 model. The manual looks updated as it mentions tubeless tire. Wah, feel confused now. 175/200 kPa and 240/280 kPa like got big difference. Underinflated? Overinflated?

 

If u use stock, its better to follow the manual. However we r using other types of tyres. Like mentioned, we changed to a thicker tyre hence need more air pressure when pumping in the air.

Most of you using Dunlop TT900 & Battleax BT39? Read some of the old forum posts, BT39 for grip & TT900 for durability? How many km can the tire last on average?

Last time i used the Battlax BT39SS tyres. Very fast finish ard 7800km only get. Nah i never use Dunlop. Presently i am using Maxxis Tyre 90/80(front) and IRC Gold Wing NR77 Sport series back.

 

Maxxis tyre is for those who economy. Go to Johor to change. In ringgit only.

IRC GOLD Wings is for those no time to go Johor. So change in Singapore.

 

Good luck in finding a good pair of tyres for yourself. Choose wisely. Nowadays always raining. A good pair of tyres is a very good investment for yourself.

So wat do u guys feel abt pirelli tyres? Right now my bike using a dunlops for front tyres and pirelli for the back tyres. So far I am losing confidence abt the back tyres. Sometimes I tend to feel that the back tyres is quite slipperly, and sometimes it give me a small fish tail effect.

An update, managed to find a 2 year old FZ and am picking it up next Friday. Can't wait to start riding on the road!

hi there! jus wanna find out if any of u have tried to lower the suspension of fz?? can it be adjusted?? coz im standing 1.5m tall and am sure the seat height is way too high for me to balance myself..

I sugguest u call Hong Leong and ask abt the price. We can't really give u the current price of this bike as the amt we spent on getting this bike is gonna be different. The machine price of this bike is rougly abt $5k, go call Hong Leong to ask for the ACTUAL price.

 

 

 

Btw I know there is a motor shop that is well known to be selling many types of bike accessories. However I can't remember the name....Its sounds like motorworld. Anyone can help me with this?

yep.. motoworld has a fair bit of accessories, but few for the fz150i.. wing yap brought in quite a few for the r15 which should be similar to ours.. best bet is still Ah-Gua Lane... they really have a lot.. hahaha

hmm...abt tyres, my front tyre use maxxis 80/90 fr abt 45K km oredy...but d thread still got abt half...my best longest lasting rear tyre was maxxis diamond..abt 19K km ...impressive! if want 2 change tyre less often, try maxxis...d worse was Duro 918...juz 8500km only(but itz cheap..rm85) now i'm using FKR fr d rear tyre...FKR name is not familiar w most spore bikers...FKR is rm80, but itz much more long lasting than duro...i'l update u all whn d d time to change my rear tyre come

Yup, it's FBC actually, so a little off. The bike's batt was flat when I got it and had trouble starting it up the first time. Lucky the sales guy helped out and riding for a bit charged it up.

RXZ, can u explain wat is S compound and P compound. Its very alien to me....haha. So wat advantage of S compound tires over the P compound? I thinking of changing my tyres......

i got rm80 cz i had done some repairs on my bike...usually he sell abt rm85..i bought at jalan pahang, KL...in JB will be ard rm85-90 depends on shop..i'm not sure watz d tyre type&compund...but d thread looks like tt900(dunlop) ..
