Cos I posted on that thread to ask if those mods r street approve or not and the reply was that it is only for racing use. Hence its better to let the fact to be known 1st. However I think I shld have ask wheather each individual parts r legal or not.

Its better to ask more specifically.

"track use only" or "racing use only" is just a nicer way of saying not street legal. sounds more garang and cool than simply "this mod is for show only, no function. and errr, LTA/TP don't approve"

some atas shops catering to ang mohs wld also put "for export use only", meaning, you can use in Malaysia/other countries. Not in SG, cuz not approved.

hi guys i would like to ask whether u guys encounter difficulties in startnig ur FZ? As I have encounter 2 times starting my bikes with difficulties and i struggle for more than 30 mins then eventually started . Ever wonder what was wrong with it? My cranking wasnt a problem just that it cant start headlight was bright and horn sounded loud too,so suspect its not rectifier and battery problem.

its not the electrical

the fuel pump... get hong leong to replace it.. some of the fz150is has a faulty pump...

alternatively, push the bike to a shady place, open the fuel cap, start the bike and then replace the fuel cap..

if it still doesn't work, give it a few minutes then try again...

place your hand on the tank and turn on the bike.. there should be a vibrating/humming around the tank area.. that would mean your pump is working... no reaction then its not working

in God we trust... all others pay CASH...

At least the prob has been diagnosed. I feel that when the warranty expire, probs start to surface.....

Me oso tnk too.But i study up on the web regards to FI.Normally the system works v well xceppt when fuel pump cant push fuel in den we gt a prob.Normally for our bike is 3 thing to check.plug, batt, fuel pump. And normally injector juz ned buy injector solution pour it in and everything done.Preventive corrosion of fuel pump mayb can just ride for certain mileage add STP petrol treatment in to clear deposit or slight water vapour.

Haha bro they didnt diagnosed the problem, it's me who ask them to go straight to troubleshoot on the fuel pump. And they told me after changing to new parts there is no warranty for it , if problem arise then i shall bring it back for troubleshooting. I feel like changing to FZ16 since its not using EFI.

Hi bro pardon me for such ignorant , got such thing as injector solution?

Got. It's a fuel additive. Go to those places selling car/bike stuff, esp the part where they sell engine oil. Fuel additives usually found near by. Some petrol station got.
