learn more about it there... in fact.... to be honest for speed and fun and corning fun... take 1.6M Getz ... vios can't take on the corner .... saw it with my own eye tat it skid off the path while corning toooo hard... in the end, the vios still behind me chasing after me... though my car is 1.4A....

 

some mods will be lovely.. but must know what to do... heeheee....

Now that I own both, I think I can be more neutral with the comments.. Cornering wise Vios better cos of the better rear suspension and lower CG,and I'm saying cos I drive both.. Power wise Vios 1.5L engine comes out with 109ps @6k and Getz 1.6L 106ps @5.8k. Vios is 70kg lighter.. But Getz more happy at revving.. Dun flame me.. I like both.. Both are very good budget cars.. Drive carefully..

Getz 1.6 have poor resale value due to competition on 2nd car market. If you prefer Getz, buy the 1.1, 1.3 or 1.4 model.

I prefer Toyota Vios

 

My frd nv whack his Vios can reach 18-20km/l using Auto Transmission gear. Step Very Soft RPM 2 Change gear. U can feel it when auto changing gear

 

Look so nice the new model and very spacious

in terms of power and value get toyota vios manual...if you can get vios 1.8 turbo then it will be good...getz not much power but petrol compsumtion very high...draggy engine after few yrs...but you have to mod your vios for cornering stability....cause toyota cars are very light...easily skid...toyota cars are better resale value even for export....bodyscrap value higher...hyundai mmmm....car loan is long term....choose wisely..not only price sake

I drive a GETZ 1.6M 3Dr.

 

So far so good, FC ard 12km/litre, car very easy to drive, and good pick up and power. I even try draggin with a vios, and manage to be in front, good interior plastic & leather used.

 

Till now nv give me problems, did some exterior mods, looks damn good......

 

I nv regret buyin it.

 

its a budget car, so dun expect too much, be it vios or getz.

 

I dare to say that korean cars have come a long way to level up car standards comparing few years back.

vios is not a very good car in the follwing ways:

 

1) unstable at high speed due to its weight

2) doors no soundproofing so haf to pay extra to get it fixed

3) no aircon filter so haf to pay extra to get it fixed

4) panels not fitted well which causes rattling

5) noisy at high speed, i heard its due to the thin windows

6) passenger side sunshade no mirror (ur gf or wife will complain for sure)

 

hope other vios drivers dun slamm me for this
