so far my rwr is fine except my rear brake jammed sometime in sep. but cka changed it n now it is ok liao. no other problems.

rear brake jam i kehna 2-3 times liao haha. eh ndy.. advise me on maintenance of scooter leh.. high anot? i thinking of changing to x8 400cc. haha. but maybe next yr nearing the end of my insurance

Another OBSERVATION, yesterday was one of the wettest weather which I rode through, the same problem of engine cut off occurred again this time 3 times. And the thing is I wasn't even going fast. This problem I realised occurs more frequently during wet weather. To me the inconvenience is when it cuts off then I have to electric start the machine.

 

Binteng, hey don't worry about it, Ninja has always been this frank, when you meet him personally,he's very quiet knowlegable and on the forum is when you can really see his overfrank personality arise.QUite used to his shutgun response already. Glad tat u understand. I am not good in talking diplomatic in forum only. But in real life I love u & ur money okay :angel:

 

Engine cut off has 2 different scenario:

1. Dry weather, clutch in then die off - unknown issue. Need CKA to confirm.

 

2. Wet weather, engine die off - synthom is if heavy rain, slowly u feel ur bike like no power... no power... ram also slowly no power, until u drop gear from 3 to 2 to 1 then stop at roadside bike die. Reason - maybe u using KNN filter, it is open port n suck in too much water vapour, no cure, just dun ride in heavy rain. Or, its ur sidestand switch problem, go and deactivate it.

so far no problems.1 thing though,i feel that my engine is starting to feel 'rough'. like, when i throttle, it just doesn't feel smooth at all. is it like that?

 

wat is ur mileage now? Perhaps can consider change a new spark plug if u havent done so or if ur mileage is above 10k can consider using OWS to flush ur engine.

scooter maintenance is ok lah. engine oil change only every 2000km or 5000km depend on yrself. every 8000km to 10,000km chg belt n rollers etc etc. full maint. cost about $200. the joy is smooth riding. dont need big cc as you cant go fast. too dangerous. max i did was 120km/h

flush the brake?

 

they chg the whole reservoir container, pump n mounting. nothing to do with the brake pad or piston.

my adiva AD200 fc is 30 to 32 km/litre. fuel injection using sym GTS200 engine which is actually 171cc. don.t need to adjust chain,oiling. it is a lazy man bike. take note: only old lady look at you no young girls unlike our Daelim RWR which attract young girls.

Box is 80 litres and under seat can put 2 small helmets. Bad as yr girlfriend go shopping can buy alots. hahahaaaaa. by the way fuel tank is 14.6 litres

oh ya, i have installed K&N Air in-take filter and i rode into an extremely heavy rain(roads are flooded...etc). i did not experiance any engine cut or power loss.

every 8000km change belt n roller... so is it expensive? Cos that wil be extra cost when compared with rwr...

his tankbag is oxford first time... strap on, can buy in motoworld... our rwr cant use the magnet type...
