Didn't go track today because of rain. :sian:

Hopefully it'll be better tomorrow.

Sooo...is it confirmed the track will be open on Jan 1st?

Sure looks like it... we can only be sure the day before.

Have been trying to go PG but it's either holiday or rainyday. Haiz.

Anyone knows how to check if the road to PG and the track itself is flooded? From what I see, the last time somebody went was on 23rd and the track was damp.

Ride there once to find out whether the roads are ok.

Went this morning. Track was still wet. Turns 3 and 6 were quite slippery. Also, the way back toward 2nd Link has become off-road! Super muddy and lots of potholes. Riders beware!

In fact, I almost suffered a tank slap at turn 6...:giddy:

I'll definitely pick my track dates actively after the monsoon season...that is, if I can wait till February :hungry:

Not as scary as I thought though, but I guess if the bike is more upright when power is fed, the slides are still quite predictable. But no matter what I do, I can't prevent the slide on turn 6, even if I just try to cruise through. They should really do something about the running water after turn 1, 3 and 6. Nice meeting redbeacon.

He was the R1 guy in our group. You forgot already?

CBR_Rider: Yeah, two strips of running water. Even if just open very little bit of throttle also so will slide. Turn 3 also, the bike tend so go wide because scared to lean. Then the exit is one big patch of water. :giddy:

chengsing: Haha, I never wash. Too tired. When will the pics be up? :cheeky: I am very impressed with your skills, man!

10am session wasn't raining, track was 95% dry, but many parts are slick with runoff..

But thats not the bad thing, the worst part is the Pasir Gudang highway. I'm sure BMW GS riders would love to tackle it, but on a sport bike its really bad.

Theres no road actually, the tar (or whatever they used) seems to have just dissappeared at some sections, leaving behind the loose gravel and sand. Its horrible, even trucks gotta slow down.

I noticed that its only certain sections of road, so I assume its due to cutting corners on the road surface mix. Some sections they're trying to repair the road, but they seem to have just stripped off the top layer of road, leaving behind a nice surface full of parallel grooves.
