i at first not more than 90/hr then after 500 i allow myself go till 100/hr...after 1000 km i will let myself go to 110 to 120 km/hr

 

 

after 1500 change engine oil one more time and off to play!

 

btw i just change engine oil ytd coz my engine oil not enough..

 

 

btw guys what are ur opinions abt belray gearbox oil? i am gonna start using the gearbox oil instead of engine oil...

 

any comments abt it?

haha. i did 1200 clicks just to be safe. but lucky i travel alot uh, finish within 1 and a half week. if not, quite boring uh everywhere below 90. haha.

 

anyway. i got topic for discussion. i called HKL that point of time when my bike was just overhauled. i wanted them to do hard run in on their dyno. they said they dont do 2 strokes.

 

is hard break in only meant for 4 strokes? making it unsafe for 2 strokes to do hard run in cause it might just jam again? if so then why motogp 125 2 strokers can straight away whack on the track since they get new parts every time? anyone know the theories behind it? would like to know =)

 

2 stroke hard run-in is quite dangerous.. normalli 2b bikes go on smooth run-in.. smooth as in accelerate smoothly.. not exceed 5k or 5.5k rpm.. den slowli increase if u wan also can.. some after 500km increase, some 800km..

as for hard run-in, normalli rpm shoo up high.. dangerous, bcus it gets 'hot' easily la.. den piston cannt tak it.. rmb, warm up ur bike b4 move off.. u start ur bike, u hear the 'tek tek sound', piston also running in at tat process..

 

*running-in, best is AVOID TRAFFIC JAM!!! LOL!

now i already at abt 800km..so another 700 to go after the 700 i will be changing to belray gearbox oil..and can whack le lo..alot of ppl tell me 1000 enough...but i rather stick to 1500...thats y after 1000 i allow myself go up to 120..after 1500 can go any speed i guess...for me i travel average abt 250km/ week..so its like literally taking forever to run in la...

 

 

hadi, at the engine casing there got one glass circle...in there got engine oil indication..whether not enough or not can gauge from there..

cause i always thought in the end its just the case of sealing the piston ring. so i was wondering why cannot just do a hard run in. but i think i get your explanation. thanks for your opinion =)

haha i do semi hard break in..lol..sorta..cannot take it ar slow slow like that..but lucky the engine running damn smooth..even more smooth than b4...and abt the startup i will pull choke kick and move off..after afew meters off the choke..i will force the bike to start moving..haha..

hi guys just wanna know. i just change to oem fast trottle and when u press the front break there is no break light at my tail light. y ah...

the moment get bike whack..but dun go over 7k rpm..and ride as per normal..dun whack but ride as per normal..like the moment u get the bike go 120km/hr...
