new kips rider here. just passed my tp last month. just got my kips last week.

 

any advice on maintaining the bike?

 

does anyone have problems kicking to neutral gear?

 

anyway i'll be reading all 773 pages of this topic. when i'm free...

neutral gear? u haf prob when u in stop position.. when u on a run, u can kick to neutral gear very smooth.. if stop position, u can jus off engine and on again and kick it.

 

for me i kick to neutral b4 stopping. very smooth..

the road isnt like a track haha u can tahan that kinda position for long period of time? handling(control) i tink s4 is better..

my netural very easy to kick..

 

one reason why i find it hard to kick is due to the clutch plate too close to the gears.. adjust the freeplay.. further den u might find it easier to kick to neutral. dats wat happened to me before and dat solved my problem hope it helps.! if the problem doesnt lie on the machine, den it must be the rider, go figure it out den :goodluck:

u adjust the freeplay of ur clutch then very easy to kick liao... if u think that ur motordiam didnt change it for u then jus go change lor... around $20 can change EO and spark plug liao...

hi guys......

 

i m selling my wife's orginal sliver colour Kawasaki Kips due to upgrading.... My wife rode the bike onli for 6 months.... She uses the bike mainly for transport onli to n fro from work which is onli @ seragoon north so the milage of the bike wont b high..... Bike is fully original condition can come take a look...

 

things that i have done to the bike.....

 

1. juz service carbs, engine oil, spark plug in march ( onli uses fully syn for both 2T n E.O )

 

2. tyres - BT39 onli 6 months( got tyres changed when i got the bike )

 

3. changed battery in march

 

4. installed HEL front n rear brake hoses

 

5. juz renewed rd tax till oct'06

 

6. price - $2300 neg

Viewing can b done @ yishun......

 

 

PS will throw in a old voltage meter by autoguage.
