Dear everyone, my name is Raymond and I have just gotten my brand new white Fazer FZ1-S v2010 today! I am so happy and excited to be part of the Yamaha Fazer community. Just a quick check if anyone knows if there is a helmet lock underneath the seat (rider/pillion) and where to locate it? Hope to learn many more things from all of you in time to come. Btw how different is this thread from the one in the Naked Bikes section? Kindly enlighten me, thanks!

If you are to hang your helmet using a helmet lock, sooner or later your helmet will be snipped off. i dont think you are going to wear a cheapo helmet while riding a FZ1S.

Congrats on your sparkling new ride! :lovestruck:

 

You can always lock your helmet (of course, I'm assuming that you'll be wearing a FF helmet) using a hardened steel lock.

 

How to lock? - You just need to make the chain go through one of the back handles found your Fazer and go through the chin area of your helmet and lock it! Voila!

 

Of course, do make sure that your chain is not the cheapo bicycle type of chain. It has to be those very durable types. You can find them at the shop next to Regina or any hardware shops.

Ironically , i have both model of bikes parked at my carpark a few days ago . The Z1000 has a more muscle look n the CB a more italian loo .

Wonder why that clumsy DHL fella dropped the girl's bike. LOL. Poor girl.... left it there for a minute and her pillion dropped it flat on the side.

The gal was inside paying instalments. She came out, face sian 1/2.... LOL.

Sort of scolded the guy. But lucky the damage not much. Just bent brake lever and scuffs on the barends, engine guards and pegs.

 

The guy's definitely not a rider. Can't even balance the bike properly. :D

we left after helping the guy to pick up the bike from the floor... :)

there's no 2 shifts la... jus that some like to come early or on the dot... ;)

there's also young and old la... in here, everyone are brothers and sisters... ;)

 

for me, i mentioned that i'll be there early is becus i'm meeting a frn for dinner and also i need to pay my bike installment... hence i choose there... :)

this frn of mine i'm sure u all will welcome him as well cus he's a fazerian! :thumb:
