i uses a digital multimeter -_-. but before i start up anything, i measured a 12.30V when crank it dropped till 9.3V gosh! the electronic stuff on board like something cock up...

Hi guys, just gotten myself a 07 fazer 1. Any one had the problem whereby when u top up to full tank, the fuel gauge still shows 1 or 2 bars short instead of full? Cos was riding home just now an the fuel gauge starts flashing at the last bar but when I top up full, I only topped up 9 liters plus of petrol? Wat seems to be the poblem?

 

Appreciate all the advice. Thanks bros. 

where did u connect your voltmeter to?

is your headlight on when starting?

what's the volt shown u try to rev to 3-4k rpm on N gear?

LEAF departure is B`cos of WIND pursit or TREE didn't ask her to stay?

U YEARN for wat u FANTASIZE den 2 realise who U should TREASURE...

hmmm... from what you descripted, it seems to have either of the two issues...

1. you didn't top up fully, which is unlikely...

2. your fuel sensor has some issue, more likely is the case...

Hmmm...i did top up to the brim.... guess should be the fuel sensor or float that may have the problem. Hope it'll not cost too much to rectify. Thanks for the advice bro, much appreciated. :)

i connect directly to my battery... not on when cranking.

rev at 3krpm is 14.25V

Does anyone know where to get a FZ6s tank bra besides motoworld and aunite?

Been trying to look around, but can't seem to find any other shops besides this 2 places.

you can get them online as well. if you dun like auntie's tankbra or bagster from motoworld. you can get top saddlery (sellerie in french) tankbra. i think my friend is selling it, if you are interested, i can let him know.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

you mean bar risers? so that the handlebar is closer to you? how much you bought yours for? anyway, since you already ordered, then reviews wont make much of a difference right. but i find it very useful as well. :angel:

auntie sell tankbra is auntie brand. NOT bagster. if you want bagster, best is order from motoworld.

bar bent actually so far only one brand, sw motech, i ordered at biketech cost 145, its like bar raisers but instead of going just upwards, its also go inwards towards u.. Saw overseas review on it, that y i bought it, omly wondering if any local using as well, hehe... Anyway, where do u guys always do bike servicing?, any good deals for fazer?

erm.. i just received email from my friend, he said its sold. apologies everyone.

 

anyway, i encounter more and more fz6 on the road now.. i think close to 10 for the past week or so. i rarely see any when brand new ones was still available. quite funny.

FZ6- 1 litre petrol can travel 17 to 20km. FZ1- 1 litre petrol can travel 14 to 16km. maintenance is the same and not much different. If u want power and travel a lot to malaysia, FZ1 better. FZ6 power only come when u rev the engine above 6k rpm.FZ6 fuel tank is 19.3 litres and FZ1 is 18 litres including reserves.Good fuel consumption and power does not come together. Happy shopping.

Hi guys,

I find that when riding at 100-110km/hr on my 05 FZ1. Im having more vibrations. travelling at 80-90km/hr or 120km/hr I feel much smoother. Is it common? I dun feel it on my FZ6 last time.

Hi. I'm a Noob FZ6 Rider. So some noob questions to ask. 1) How many km u all ride before changing engine oil and spark plugs. 2) Is there any need to replace the OEM coolant? if need, how often? 3) Does anyone here wash radiator? Both the inside and outside parts. Cuz I always ride in sandy areas, the bottom part of my radiator very dusty looking. Scared will cause radiator to spoilt. Will really appreciate all answers and suggestions on how to maintain and take care of my FZ6 to keep my baby running for years and years. Thanks to all in advance!
