To me, I find it a little "not nice" too. :) I rather live without the windscreen for the FZN.

 

Yah, zewei, once you decided on to be "naked", you got to get used to the wind. :) You should have considered the FZS if you don't enjoy the wind. Just my 0.0000000000000000000000002 cents worth of comments. Please do not flame me. :)

Yup it's the small plastic windscreen..Was trying to find a relatively good condition and good price of fz6 ma.. For quite a long time alr.. Wanted with fairing, but in the end this fz6n I bought jus a too good offer .. Lol.. So I guess have to live with the wind..

yeah if you purchase the naked series you dun have much options, unless you willing to buy the oem front fairing, fairing stay and headlights..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

I personally choose to live with the wind. :)

 

But unless like the others said, you frequent NSH often, then a bit tiring for you.

 

For me, a poser riding a "big cow" around Singapore only, I have live to enjoy the wind... :)

just get used to it then can liao la folks... :)

my windshield is solid black one up to my chest only and i don't do any full pik chia at all, can go up to 200km/hr while still staying upright, but of cus had to use a better helmet... :)

perm or temp box? side box or top box?

if temp, get hard cover side saddle bags... they look nice on naked bikes...

if perm, i seen v35 on fz6n before, pretty nice... i also seen h&b junior 40l on fz6n before, it's big and handy but not as nice as v35... if top box, get a small to medium size one will suit better...

Thought so too...didn't ask what year model they quoted me for that time. I guess got to double-check with them again. Can you tell me what year Fazer1000 has for the latest one (beside N-model)?

Appreciate your input/advice.

Currently I'm riding GSR600. Had travelled to Thailand with these bike, can't stand the wind blast, so eyeing for Faser now.

the latest model year for FZ1S Gen2 is 2010 and 2011 is coming soon already... on when to come, best to check with Hong Leong... :)

unless you hands is real nibble and small, you can try sticking them in to change the pole light... else i would recommend you to take out the dash board to change... it's much easier... :)

yo peeps... just wana ask as i install LV on FZ6 Gen 1. do i need to do Dyno Jet tunning or just normal tunning will do? anybody went to K&T to do normal tunning? if i were to go there for normal tunning, ok ma?

if u only installing the end can + air filter, you can actually forgo about doing any tuning cus they will not make much of a difference...

Juz got my fz1s 2011 model with the stock all-black bazooka pipe and paid less than 20k for it OTR. got the last bike from the shop. next batch coming in jan i think and it will cost btwn 20k-21k. usually with every new batch, although same bike model, the price will increase slowly. dunno y also.. but for now, enjoy the FAZER tame roar for awhile b4 it gets WILD after 2000km mileage. LOL!!!! :thumb::thumb::thumb:
