install mirrors to reflect back

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment, and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

Cultivate the confidence to face the different situations. Don't let yourself to be subdued by the environment :thumb:

ya, those lights are irritating if you're in front... i just tink they are blind, SG roads so bright still need such bright lights...

certain times cant even see infront properly cos of those lights

either i filter away, or i speed away from them. but i wish i have spot lights installed behind, so i can "help" them to brighten the road so the "blind" drivers can see better. :D

HID is not legal if it is not factory fitted with auto leveling mechanism.

With properly aligned headlamp, glares from HID can be reduced but it does not solve the problem.

Projector type headlamps are used with HIDs for its ability to produce a very clean cut off region to minimize glare. Light is bended and focus to where it is intended by the lens at the front of the projector headlamp.

Auto leveling helps to cancel out the misalignment caused by heavy load at the rear of the vehicle. When the rear of the vehicle is loaded, the rear sinks and the front rises, auto-leveling will tilt the lamp downwards to cancel the effect.

Sometimes it might not the HID, but those coated bulbs that produces light at the higher color temperature range. Because of the way our eyes react to white light, they cause significant amount of glare also.

We can only get out of their way and nothing much we can do. Alternatively you can let the car overtake, get to the rear of the car and note down its number plate. Then you can report to LTA about the car's headlight being excessively glaring.

I am not sure if got use or not. But I have seen LTA bikes in MSCP, I believe they are there for a number of reasons.

Such complains might not be enough to charge the errant drivers, but there will be a record of complains against the vehicle. These records might be taken into consideration should the vehicle be involve in the same offense and officially caught by enforcers.
