Servicing comparison

Hi guys,

 

will like to ask if anyone know how much it takes to change eo,oil filter, spark plugs at these 2 shops. Planet and BikeWorkz. will like to check on the price of doing these servicing on these 2 shops. If i'm not wrong one of these shops actually charged 3 bottle of eo instead of 4. is it same for both the shops ?

bro, why not you go down to the 2 shops and ask them. specify the eo and plugs and oil filter and get the price. i'm sure the shops will give you the answer. rather than u ask in here, and everyone gives you a different price and end of the day, u still gotta go down to the shops to ask...

-OEM Oil Filter

-Maxima EO

-NGK Iridium Spark Plugs x4

-Total = +/- S$150

this money is spent every 5k mileage.

unque does a good professional job..the packages are rather reasonable..

 

but to me!.

All bike shop charge about the same lah. If there is any slight variation in $s..it would not be more than 5% lah. This could be due to rental and salary for mech variation. Normally workmanship time is around $10 to $15.

 

The important thing is that wheather their oil original or not..and do they really have the patience to wait till the last drop of both the drained out and refilled oil to stop.

 

Try to DIY yourself lah...so simple. I never had once had my S4 oil or oil filetr changes done by shops unless gear box jobs are invovle..aat any rate, I still bring along my own blended oil along.

sometimes not dun want to diy.. but the problem is after draining out the eo.. still need to go bikeshop to dispose.. then might as well ask them to change.. that's for my situation.

I understand but there are one and a hundred ways to dispose the oil...can't mentioned it here though..
