Wah, if I were to bring along someone, paid for her movie ticket and she slept throughout or halfway through the show, my heart will be damn pain man. Weekend movie ticket is $9.50 and weekday costs $7. You don't feel the pinch meh when someone sleeps your hard earned money away? If she pays for herself, then different storylah... :sweat:

Causeway Point movie ticket is only cost $6.50 weekday $9 weekend

"The Haunted Apartments "

Aimi and her father move into an old, apartment building and learn quickly that things are not normal here. The landlord warns them of the rules. Those brave enough to break the rules are unmercifully killed or tortured by mysterious undead spirits. Aimi begins to see visions of a girl that residents say doesn't exist. She learns of a girl named Ai who lived here 30 years ago before she vanished one day on her way home from school. As Aimi is driven to find out more, she learns that Ai wasn't abducted, but in fact came back to the building the day she disappeared. Can Aimi learn the horrible truth of what happened to Ai? And what is the dark, disturbing secret that the two girls share?

 

The BanquetWhen her brother-in-law, Li (starring Ge You) ascends the throne after the King’s death, Empress Wan (starring Zhang Ziyi) agrees to marry him in order to protect her step-son, Prince Wu Luan (starring Daniel Wu). Convinced that his uncle has murdered his father, the Prince Wu Luan decides to return to the palace and take revenge. Everything culminates in a night banquet where all hell will break loose…

 

Friends With Money

The three friends with money, Frannie (Joan Cusack), Jane (Frances McDormand), and Christine (Catherine Keener), share a concern for Olivia (Jennifer Aniston) who seems unable to make a living or sustain a relationship - at least by their standards. Their group examination of her lack of options magnifies each of their own doubts and concerns about the marriages and careers to which they have committed themselves.

 

Olivia, meanwhile, drifts through each of her friends’ lives, at times avoiding the issue of money altogether, and at other times accepting her friends’ painful generosity. The Haunted Apartments - i give it a miss... i dun like japan horror show leh.. the concept is always damn the same ...

Is it? Then I must have gone to the cinema without the discounts then. I had to pay $19 for a pair of tickets to watch 'Monster House' with my son during the weekend at Eng Wah Toa Payoh... :giddy:

Yup. Cos of the tight security and hassles involved should you want to hangout at Suntec City, Eng Wah Suntec is having a promotion of buy two tickets and you get one ticket free. They have to resort to this lah. If not, during the duration of the IMF/World Bank thingy, that cinema will lose money... :sweat:
