seniors... i need hep in this.. ( pardon my drawing ).. if im vehicle c turning right, do we still have to give way to b when we are in fact turning into different lanes? and if they are all stopping there to turn into their slopes, can c proceed? wanna be really sure abt this before i go onto the road.. million thanks...

Wait for vehicle A to bypass you and you can proceed.

Wait for vehicle B both front tires to cross the stop line and you can proceed. You can proceed if vehicle B is waiting/queuing/stopping for the slope. Sometimes vehicle B will go straight too, observe.

If vehicle AB is very far, you proceed first.

If vehicle AB is very near, let it proceed first.

If vehicle AB is far near, you have to decide your own.

Hope it helps!:cheeky:

just ensure that B has crossed more than half of the vehicle over the line, then you may proceed to cross the junction.

if all else fail, just wait until the right turn arrow comes on before moving off, unless both oncoming lanes really no traffic then you are bound to be marked for points.

im actually referring to the junction at the 2 walls. usually there will be a row of cars at B, all signaling left and stationary, waiting for their turns up the slope, just to clarify, even though they are all stationary, i have to guai guai wait till the last car is done before i can turn at c? o_O

cars in the circuit sometimes hog the road. X.X. What i did was check that no cars were going straight. And also that those cars are not moving then i turn. Does that make sense? Eeeep

ya, it makes total sense, i do that too, but, i wonder if it constitutes to 2 pts, since by right of way, we have to give way and make sure both lanes of oncoming are clear before we can turn.. though the sensible thing is that we shld proceed if they are stationary.. dont wanna lose my 2 pts so easily during t.p ..

if there's a few cars, it'll take quite sometime for the line to clear, no? Haha. I think its best to ask the instructors. But i think can proceed, because they're not going straight.

Hi all, i got 2 questions that i like to ask.

1) for fig8 at the ending part, when do u start to clutch in? for me, I do it before turning left to the stop line. but i think it's too slow.

2) consider this situation, u wan to turn right into the slope (both left and right is empty), but there's a car blocking the left side slightly. so the left side of the slope now become half blocked. what will you do?

wait for the car to move away, move into the right side of the slope or move to left side ?

Thanks alot.

@angel87

1) when you're about to stop? What I do is before exting the fig8 I kick down to gear one and clutch in all the way till I stop. :X I don't think it's right though. But I find it easier rather than half clutch and throttling. Might cause jerking. In my opinion la.

2) move to left side. That's always been what my instructors keep saying. If there's no bike on the slope at all, go to the left.

I clutch in when the front tire cross the stop line. You can clutch in before the stop line too. Do the way that makes you feel comfortable.

I didn't encounter that situation yet. But if the car is blocking half way, you won't have enough clearance to enter the slope. Proceed when you have enough clearance to enter the left side. Don't go to the right side because it is left right left right or you will get incorrect positioning. Either the car is queuing or engine stall. If not, there is no reason for the car to stop there. If there is a driver in the car, he should be able to see you and start moving.

Simple, just wait for the car to move.:cheeky:

ok, thanks alot. cos i met this situation and i stop. but the instructor in the car was like waving furiously at me and wanting me to move. thought i do wrongly haha.

I think i'll try to clutch in before exting like wat shadowluva has mentioned. once again, thanks.

I get so annoyed with the cars in the circuit. They are moving too slow. Zzz. And some of them signal last minute. Got this incident, i was behind this car. I signalled right and changed lane. When i finish changing the stupid car horn me sia. He wanted to move in the lane i was in. -.- I signalled way earlier. Aiyohhhh

TP is on 27 MAY! I hope i won't get rusty.:cheeky:

book for circuit revision, even better if you can arrange for road revision after the circuit revision, back to back - that's what I did :) - few days before your TP test. It would help you a lot, I passed on first attempts - 8 points :cheeky:
