After a big roller-coaster ride with that shop, my bike finally got done up properly or at least 80% properly. The carbs have been washed, rectifier, chain, airfilter, plugs and engine oil changed. Rear bearings, Rear disk brake, CDI swapped with another bike they had in the shop. I saw all these being done with my own eyes so at least my mind is more at peace now. The bike now is much smoother than the first time I took it out. When I first took it out the bike had so many problems. I am a very new RVF rider and know little about the bike so I want to thank all of you guys for your advice and PMs. I didn't even know that there was a RVF community till recently. My bike sadly still moves by itself in first gear full clutch in and I have no feeling in my rear brake even though the brake pads have been changed. I think there is something wrong with the front fork too cus when i experience some uneveness or go across those white lines on the road the handle bar wobbles a little. Lots of you have advised me to let Clifford at K&T to take a look. Will be going down there tomorrow if he is free. Hope to exerience the full joy of the RVF as many of you have. Thanks again guys.:thumb:

hello guys, wanna make some queries about RVF.

anyone here rides both RVF and S4 before? is the maintenance cost similiar or is it much more expensive?

i've just sold off my S4 and gian to try out a sports bike and thought RVF is probably one of the better 400cc sports bike to own. waiting to take TP for class 2 but doubt will be changing to big bike - scared of hefty maintenance.

seems like quite a few fellows are selling their RVFs now so thought of checking out with u guys.

Resolution for 2009, stay healthy, get wealthy, make more friends, ride safely & pass all exams!

Wise choice if u in tend to stay in this class...i won't say it's the best bike but other than the spark plug, the maintenance is the same as your S4....i ridden S4 b4 (not mine but my friend)...riding posture slightly different but it's ok...power wise....no need to say lah...one is V4 one is inline vtec....different class lah...V4 throttle up very nice sound....and if u get a 2bro like bro terry...best but he already plannign to sell liao...cos 2bro make his balls shrink (don't flame me, i got the quote from his garage link)....other than that, this is a very good bike to flick around....very responsive...and Really Very Fast lor....:thumb:

Hi, brother, i think its not fair to accuse anyone with out proper proof of theft, failing to check your own bike before taking out of the shop is on the ownes on each owner to check, failing to do so deems the shop unrelated to your "missing" or "stolen" parts it can lead to you being sued for deflamotory remarks. I suggest you remove your comments before you get sued, like someone else who did deflamatory remarks on sbf. Just my advice.

6) Small sized damper, brand unknown.

7) Voltmeter

8) Zeal (Brand) half gloves

10) OGK FF3 Full faced helmet, yellow colour. Condition 6/10 due to a few scratches, but noticable only upon close up look)

11) And of course, my RVF which most prob have to let new owner C.O.I only and top up around 200-300 bucks due to mods done to bike. C.O.I price is around 7.5k FP Plate. $233 x 33 months from Xtreme motor.

Thats all for now, everything will be recompiled again either tonight or tomorrow.

How does she laugh?

How does she cry?

What's the color of her eyes?

Does she even realize I'm here?
