Happy New Year Guys...

Rekindling this thread...

this is not exactly my ride, but this baby's been with me for a while, thru the highs and lows of NS highways and the land of smiles.

Good morning,

My bike so-so only. My first and only bike..... The shop did for me. I just told them I wanted my bike to be matt black. However, I'm a bit regretted cos I can't polish it. Too difficult to maintain....

Saw many of such on the road. They are great. I need to beautify a bit more (crush bars, smaller signal lights, wind shield, red horns, etc).

So difficult to find a shop who can do it all. Went to Ah Boy, Chong Aik, Pink Phantom and many motor shops but .......last resort is Seng Kwang....

Regards

Kevin

As claimed, There's a need to drive when we have a Family. But all that is needed to ride is Dream... Many are still dreaming about it.

I wanna take it out but still scouting for reasonable large saddle to keep my helmet and raincoats. after tat, fit on a tall sissybar to top it up BUT it's really a very niche market for cruisers here.

the replies are always: "sori, we dun sell."

There isn't much selection in term of models availability in this class thus, brand new cruiser is restricted to Honda Shadow ACE, Yamaha Dragstar Classic and Suzuki Boulevard.

Boulevard is still considered a new bike.. so either u buy it brand new, or take it off someone for >$10k, either way, its way higher priced

dragstars/shadows on the other hand trade more frequently coz they are older and thus more affordable.. furthermore their durability is almost a given..

if u'r comparing brand new boulevard to brand new dragstar, i think otr for boulevard is higher too

That's right maniahk.

jtzx, if you don't have the intention to keep the bike long, I would suggest you to purchase a used bike instead of a brand new bike. It will be easier to off load as well when you go for class 2 bike and won't bite your pocket too hard.

My ride.. ^^

Yamaha Midnight Star 1300

It's a beauty. Did the saddle bags come along with the bike by stock default?
