true i believe so too..... plus now no money buy full system... have to save up for race fairings first

yeah man....i am enjoying track as a passion and hobby. nvr really come across my mind to be in a competition, but i do want to improve my timing though not competing. self-satisfaction. hehe....i love the thrill and challenge. last time i feel so inferior coz i know i'm slow and dun dare go track scared wait feel paisey....hahaha....now, i dun even thought about dat. jus go in n hav fun. like u said, enjoy as a hobby n passion. ignore negative comments from people but take in advises.

I ain't an expert but I sure believe abt progressing from stock to mods.. like I advised frens who wants to fully mod his bike 1st before going to Track, he quoted that he scared of being slow; hindering others and like having a stockie bike will make people look down on him..

 

So he wants a full titanium Akra system, PC3 and all those goodness sh*t on his K6G1 b4 considering going on Track..

 

My advice for him was to get his a$$ on the Track right then with STOCK, explore his abilities and brush up his skills and eliminate fears before slowly adding a End-Can, to a PC3 and maybe a full-system..

 

I told him that he'll be surprised at the differences in feeling when he mods here bit and there.. Sometimes, when ur bike becomes too modded, I bet some would even take the risk to explore their bikes capabilities with all the spent $$$ moving along the tarmac at fast speed..

 

Progress can be slow and painful but surely will bear fruit if you persevere and burn the flames of your passion hard..

 

The outcome? Heard nothing from him yet for now..

yup..i agree with u. no point if u cant handle yr stock power, den straight away mod yr bike. at least get the basic skill, learn the handling of yr bike, learn to control yr bike.....den slowly mod. well...dats wat a once pro racer advised me.
