Just an advise to fellow bikers going to JB...

 

Just kena fine there...

For not having my roadtax and insurance with me when I ride there...

The police say it is their law in Malaysia that must have your Roadtax and Insurance with you all the time...

I never bring cause the Singapore Police several times only check my IC and/or driving license only... the last time I had mine with me was when one policeman told me that everything can check computer already no need to bring or show to check... hee hee..

I forgot lah computer not linked to JB system.. RM200 to learn that lesson..

I never had that problem. Was a receipt issued?

Guys suggestion needed here -

 

I bought brand new FBB RXZ last year on 11th April 2007 from shop "A". Recently i went back to his shop and asked about brand new Spec 3 which currently left 1 brand new one in his shop. Black colour which is what i'm looking for.

 

My RXZ left with around 8 more month of instalment $190 X 7 months = $1,330 (+ last payment of $170 = $1,500) When asked about trade in value he asked me to quote a price which i quote as $2,500 and he agreed to it.

 

So meaning after the instalmet deduction i have $1000 in hand. He offered me $1,700 downpayment which is still pending for exact amount that i really want to put down.

 

I explained to him that currently i'm still waiting for TP which is around the corner (in 2 weeks times) but he offered me to reserved the only brand new Spec 3 in his shop with $100. He also said that he allowed me to ride my RXZ till the day i decided to sign the new trade in deal with his shop.

 

According to him, there is no more brand new Spec 3 in his shop except that one and only i mentioned to you guys. For other shop he explained that could be a left over production.

 

Just need your kind suggestion, is this a good deal & better understanding from a bike shop towards their customers or is there any other better deals out there that i'm not known to it????

 

Is the price that i myself quote him is reasonable in the market currently??

 

Lastly if i proceed, am i making a right choice???

 

Btw, my age is coming 26 this June the price for my insurance for AXA is $700++ and price OTR for the Spec 3 is about 13K. He actually calculate base on my age as 26 yrs old already. Please help me on this cos i'm feeling abit confuse, many thanks in advance.

its located some 15km from Woodlands customs.

we'll take a relaxing ride there and enjoy lunch and chit-chatting.

(no expressways, all major roads...)

after our meal, we'll head back to JB area for bike wash (RM5 per bike).

i know the bike wash place as i always go there.

then buy ciggy, pump petrol and back to SG... end of trip.

black?? ur current bike wat colour? i may be sending for respray as mine too many scratch and rust. together with add designs. my current sticker on bike will be the designs =) but in 2mths time before hari raya.
