for local riding need fork brace or not? I still waiting for my hyper pro combo kit. Motoworld 10 weeks already still not in yet...:cry:

Lol Bro, Sorry to say ah but MW ah... The waiting time is long if they don't have the stock. they told me to wait till next year Feb-Apr for Wee Ventura Light Guard. I find another alternative. My friend happened to fly to New Zealand so I email Ventura to keep stock in their Suzuki Shop in Auckland. And now I have my light guard :cheeky:

I rem for super brace there is diff for Vee and Wee leh......

diff part number....

I rem the thickness for both the fork is diff leh.

Hey guys!! Ijust check on VSRI forum on Rick's Fork Brace (Adventure Tech).Apparently he got 2 models. One is for the Wee and the other is for the Vee. So I think we better input our bike model for Khai to order the correct parts.

The last time talked to mr lee(looi's). he says 2010 will be coming in. No changes for the 2010' for DL1000. Not sure bout the DL650.

Word of caution if u guys think oversea mass order will be cheaper. Singapore custom will impose GST on any shipment with a total value of over SGD300.00.

GST relief is granted on goods, inclusive of new articles, personal effects, souvenirs, gifts and food preparations but excluding dutiable products, imported by post to a total value not exceeding $400. Where the value exceeds $400, the entire sum would be subject to GST.

Based on Khai info, 98.00 USD = 137.160 SGD

United States Dollars Singapore Dollars

1 USD = 1.39959 SGD 1 SGD = 0.714493 USD that would be SGD 685.80 for 5 persons x 7% GST=SGD 733.806

 

Meaning per person we would need to fork out about SGD 146.80. Am I missing anything here? So would it be cheaper if we order using 2 account instead so that the we could avoid the 7% GST? Just wondering....... Any advices?
