Yeah,not really a KRUZERS outing lah,just a small group from there. Very friendly guys. My friends ride 2 Diversions & a Bandit. Just join in lah, this is alternative to playing water at melaka.

The lobsters were OK. Although the highlight was the ride back were Strommy really blew the competition away. Along the winding up n down hills of route 40-something, Strommy just flew up the hills coz' itz low-end torque is just superior. Then when traffic jam everybody else (ST,Diversion,Bandits) found it so hard to overtake huge lorries in front. Strommy just went onto the side gravel n zoomed past everyone! I must say that Strommy handled the gravel v well but the front shocks feel abit light when I go into and out of pot holes. Also the rear wheel seems to fish-tail quite often coz' Strommy is just too powerful when travelling 80-90 on gravel. What you guys think?

hey any varadero 1000 riders here? seen some 2nd hand vara 1000 at shops waiting for someone to ride the joint. Compare varadero 1000 to Vstrom 1000, can anybody tell me the good and bad on them? heard FC for varadero 1000 is high. Issit true?

I think its preference lah. Some say Vara is heavy loh, FC higher I guess. But resale is higher than Suzuki bikes. Me friend tried the Strom and said his Vara does not handle as well as Strommy in terms of taking corner. Ask the rest for their views.

Vara heavier in weight but has much better brakes and windprotection. It is much easier to source for accessories for vara. Vstrom is more agile in term of handling. Both have their pros and cons. It depends on what you like!

Yes each bikes has it's pros n cons. Depends wat u exactly want n like. If u want to ride Vara, get the FI model not the carb(petrol drinker). Stable at high speed due to it's heavy weight. Bigger seat to comfort ur arse.

 

Strom is more handsome than vara esp the headlights, handguards. Maintenance also cheaper, 3 bottles engine oil versus 4 on Vara. Just my 2 cents.....

Which handguards did u mount? The wrap around ACERBIS kind? Anyway I got a pair of stock wrap around handguards but cannot fit my mounting screw. So sad.........sigh
