I got from LimBat, $12.00

It does come with a weather proof cap, so far so good.

LEAF departure is B`cos of WIND pursit or TREE didn't ask her to stay?

hey guys, I'd just been to Looi's and was quoted 24K for all in for DL1000. Can feedback if this is a gd deal?

that is pricey.... does it includes main stand, panniers and crash bar? :p

no it doesn't. Only giving one givi top box. I'm considering getting myself one. what would be a reasonable price to consider for this bike? I've ridden tdm900 before so thinking of trying a strom 1000. thanks

Hey Casio, long time no see. You only considering new ones? Or you like to consider 2nd hand ones? A couple of used vstroms available in the market to consider.

My was 21k...with install interest it work out to be 25k 5 year installment ...3 years ago brought in 08 apr...i love the bike an i know what i want...

hey man.. indeed long time. left bike biking for a few good years infact. now itching to come back and join the fun again. well, to be honest, I'm open to either new or used. Looi's had a used DL1000 there too but the selling price was 19K for 06 model. I thought if I have to pay that price for a used one, I might as well consider a new one at that price I quoted earlier. of coz the used one had quite a bit of accessories including h&B panniers, crash bar, main stand, scorpion muffler (i think), gear indicator, new aftermarket shocks and scottoiler. anyone you know selling?

Try Demue's DL650.. condition is gd and price in my opinion is reasonable and has all accessories :thumb:

I think that is a bargain buy for the used beast..

i got mine used and barenaked for 16.5. k6 as well. so all of those for 19 is justified i my opnion.

 

and if u buy and odnt want the muffler...lemme know :cheeky:

I don't know if I will considering that it's a 4 yr old bike and 54K km into her life already. But I do admit it's tempting. I'm just holding out for now. what's the consumption like anyway?

4 Yr bike and 54 k..... How abt mine... 14mths and 45k?? How abt that... I think it is time for me to slow down a bit....

 

In any case considering 4 yrs with accessories consider not bad. There are those which bought 2nd hand bare naked, with about tat price.I'm sure you know how much farkles for big bikes cost since you ride TDM before.

 

Alternatively, you might consider the lighter Wee(DL650). Don't underestimate its power and torque. Most ppl are surprise with what the Wee can do. Consumption,road tax and insurance definitely in a better range.

 

Of course if you want more power by all means get the bigger beast.

consumption varies on the rider... mine managed to get 15km/L while others can go as far as 350km on 21.5 litres of petrol and even further

why everyone so gd one?? lol mine is 13 to 14 km/L on city riding and im getting 17 to 18km/l when 120 to 140 :cheeky:

Knew someone wanting to see his 08 Vee for 17k...mileage shld be low since its a commuting bike and he is always outstationed. Let me know if u are interested
