What engine oil r u using ? How old is it ?

Sport tourer advisable to use semi synthetic oil . Sport bikes will use fully synthetic .

If u want the engine to be more quiet then use MIneral but got to change it more frequent.

Come to think of it... tried many eo... this time was xrev...been using the oil for about 4K for mineral, what's the length like? 2-3k? Any suggestion for mineral eo?

I stick to synthetic for my bike. So far some of the best which I have try are RedLine, Belray,Esso,Motul and Maxima.

No rank for me but my personal preference are Belray, Redline and Maxima. If price is not a factor go for AGIP (haven try but read online reviews)and Motul.

If I dont use my front brake and depress my rear either longer than usual or harder... there will be a loud loud "ketak" sound... Is that the ABS kicking in? It happens even if I am depressing lightly but prolonged...

i believe it's the sound of ur chain, normally heard when u lock ur rear... as it lock the rear skid on the road surface, and vibrations is transmitted onto the chain and ur sprockets moves back and forth coming into contact with the chain causing this sound.

i like to have a feel on how many riders is interested in getting those rubber paddings on ur rider's foot peg. Item 7 for DL650. i'm talking to oversea dealers, i want to know what is my bargaining power with quantity! Thanks.

I was actually thinking of changing this to DL 1000 version but not sure compatible or not.... At least with Alu, I can put reflective sticker.
