I have just changed my tires front and back. The old back tire which is a bridgestone battlewing still have lots of tread left. Those of you who is in need of a back tire change and do not mind using my used battlewing can just go to Unique Motorsports at 38 Toh Guan Road East #01-57 and ask for Muhammad Izwa the Sales executive there. Woo... U was riding fast man. haha. cant catch up. was behind u for a while. Yupx. my first option is the old wee model but wonder is there any other changes (like better engine, etc...) beside the outlook only.

 

I noticed a black bike with prominent headlights behind me about 3 cars away along PIE. Can't tell what bike but I suspect it was a mid sized bike with a front fairing. Are you the one? I thought you would catch up and overtake as I was cruising.

 

New wee uses the galdius engine which is the newer SV650 model in states I believe. The oil cooler is relocated and not at the current location behind the header pipes. New engine has to be good or else it defeats the purpose. But some like the bombproof older engines instead of those state of the art features.

 

If you want a wee now, you have the older model to buy 2nd hand or new from Loois. New one means you have to wait for it to reach SGP.

Huh? so u mean the orginial FI nozzle will choke? in this case, how to rectify the FI nozzle?

follow the instruction in the manual. sent to workshop pay abt $150 to replace a new one , it normally happens after a few years of dirty fuel ,adding the wrong additives, squirting some gluey substances into the fuel tank after an orgasing ride...etc you maybe surprise with what the mechanic will find in the fuel system.

 

if you are savvy you could dismantle fuel injector yourself and replace them, I know of 1 bros who had done that and post the picture a few 10s pages back. or the VSRI forum too.

not true....as long got hole can be choke. unless the hole is super big hole, but then the some other problem will come....

not easy ........ you have to get a few extra pieces of custom made adapters

Im using SW motech guard and skid plate... no issues... n its cheaper than HB guard...

 

U can mount the skid plate at HB guard or infact most of the guard thats available on the market... but u have to buy the adapter when u order ur skid plate...

When u buy SW motech engine guard... it will come with the mounting for the skid plate... hence its like plug n play only...

 

but if u have other engine guard brand(I used to have a touratech engine guard)...

when ordering ur skidplate... order together the adapter that is compatible to ur engine guard...

Got on the Wee (current model) ... altho its tall ... my feet are firlmy on the ground ... I'm 179.

 

Cos the seat is not that broad ... reckon the new Wee should also be fine ...

Dont know which engine guard to get (HB or SW). wonder which have more protection and not so ex too. haha. cause wanna install skid plate too but dont really wish to spent extra $ on the adataper. btw, where u guys buy the radiator guard for 650 and which brand main stand is stable?

sigh....just get the guard install first. if can get sw then good for u as you can install the belly guard later, but if not go with the hb asap........you can order the rest on ebay

 

that's the good thing abt the storm.....you can get to farkle the bike at your own time
