Dear stromtroopers,

 

I found the strong petrol smell coming out from the oil tank cap, any other user have same problem or know how to solve it?

 

I parked my wee side stand since cant install mainstand due to leovince full system.I always pump half tank(10~12 L) Esso 98 when hitting the reservoir.

 

1. check filer cap seal

2. check correct level of top up as per manual ( just touching the tip of the filler hole )

3. after filling the tank with the cap open, park it on side stand , see whether it overflow to the rim of the filler hole( a small hole for petrol to overflow there is suppose to have a hose toward the bottom of the bike)

 

soln 1: most likely the seal spoilt

indent n replace seal : abt 2weeks n $50

 

soln 2: f..k it just ride , when rain put cover on tank cap to prevent water going in n dont smoke near the bike against fire

hi guys, can i check roughly how much is the new 650 wee OTR? im 33yo riding for 14yrs exp

Apologised if it had been post as i cant find infor within page 190-192, but very impress for the gd FC....

you should be looking at 22-24k , best u bring someone who knows Mr lee from looi n is your friend you get better rate , if you get the older ver you may even get it below 20k

 

the higher pricing is affect by the yen n tsunami

most of the vees will have this problems, to sove this issue

 

1. pay $100 to change the L shape flexible connectors under the tank every year.

 

2. do not smoke close to the bike when you forgot to ride her (free)

 

3. ride the bike every 2 days and not wait for 3 days...(free)

 

4. sell the bike.....get a S10 or BMW....

I believe you mean the original rear hand rail cum flat rack. Almost any aftermarket top box rack can be mounted on it. No need to remove or drill additional holes. Just need to remove the rubber mat that is on it. Thought the previous owner has a H&B rack already mounted?

 

Low budget: Givi Simply $100+/-

No budget: Touratech Zega $700-$800 +/-

 

I would recommend Hepco & Becker base plate with Junior 45L $500-$600 +/-

Go SAF e-mart buy a haversack and bungee cord with your credits and strap your stuff on the rear rack or seat. Its quite practical if you don't mind carring your helmet around and don't pillion.

Base plate = rack. Same thing unless you are referring to side pannier rack. Sometimes rack is referred to the metal rails mounted on top of the top box to strap bike cover etc.
