Unless they invent one jacket that will make u fly...then i reconsider changing... :cheeky:

 

I strongly advice NOT wearing a flying jacket when riding motorcycles.......:rolleyes:

 

Anyway for guys not sure of doing TBS, I say do it! U'll feel the response on Strommy is really quite different. When changing gear and opening throttle, the surge is more evident coz' faster response time. Gives you feeling its a more powerful machine without spending anything. Good for drag race once in a while........of coz I paid $50 to get it done coz' I'm lazy to do it myself...

most brands got carry exhaust for DL1000. just need to know the authorised dealer shop can le.. motorworld, adventure motor etc.. search the advertised thread can le.

Used normal road tires all my life until changed to Strom. My ANARKEE tires have served me well for past 9months but is begining to wear out. Seems that when Strom tilt beyond 15-20 degree, bike will start to whobble slightly. Realise that the center part of tire has worn out but sides are still 'new', thus creating different riding feel when going straight versus taking corner. Maybe hybrid grooves on sides make riding jerky while center part (worn out) behave more like street tire. I hit a car's side mirror just now when squeezing traffic and swerving about at traffic jam coz' bike unexpect wobble abit, make me seem like 'kayu' rider! Next tire change will be pure road tire.

there's no pure road tire for stroms.. if wan need to order.. so far anakee/battlewing is close to road tire....

me also looking for bt020 for the strom..called HKL dat day they said they don have it...perhaps the tourance EXP would be the next choice?

 

so far the tourance exp not in the local market yet.....

asked JR once...and they don't even know the tyre exist...

 

other best sources are Mtechnik n Stamford since they deal a lot on GS..

I saw chan having stock up quite alot of bridgestone tires..maybe can give him a call n check.

hey do u guys noe whether its illegal to haf flush mount signals?

 

At inspection, the VICOM uncle so blur, I think got signal light that works can liao. Word of advice though, I changed my front signal to small funky type from LAB there, with STROM's super strong headlight, I suspect oncoming cars cannot see my small and funky front signals.
