hi pal, if u can wait, wait for the new vtec bb to be launch. if u dun like the vtec bb, wait for it to be launch and the old bb price will start to drop.but only a bit. cos i aim for my bb since 5 years back.the price back then was $24k - $25k. i bought mine last year at $22k.so u can take a chance n see if the price will drop.

Jalan Kayu we go to the seafood restaurant.. infact there is a new malay stall there. The prata shop nearer to esso suckz man!!

 

Anyway i always roam around for kopi from bedok simpang,fong seng,JB,KL etc...hhehee

 

JK near my house and most BB owners stay around that area cept a few far away..

hi to all, i have juz bought a blackbird, its a 1999 yr old bike...EFI but analog meter model...mileage 84k km

everything of that bike is ok, except the handling.werid..

when i tried to corner (moderate speed ard 60) i turn my handlebar abit..but the tyres like pushing the handlerbar towards the direction of my turn, stressing my wrist...issit the tyres? im using bridgestone bt56 front and rear.the pressure is pump at 42 psi (recomended)

 

the other thing is my chain and spocket..rather noisy....but tighten liao..and lubed..still got 1/2 life liek tat..dunno if its normal...

 

yup..still waiting for the next BB outing..(mayb can go to 2nd link for a petrol pump session) wan to know more about my bike...

but overall its a nice bike..except for its weight..abit obese....

 

ya..im also luking for sum accessories like tank bra, and headlite protector...do keep mi informed should there be any good offer on this...thanks!

check the steerring cone.Ask a friend to push down the rear of your bike when on main stand and check the front steering cone by turn to the left and right slowly. :goodluck:

take care on the chain... if possible check it often, if the chain snaps it going to hurt your pocket and your life. Remember for our bikes the chain is taking more stress than our smaller cc bikes.

 

you might want to recheck the tyres got any puntucres. or the tyre is gone liao meaning it is harden.

 

think there is some fella on the net selling half tank bra,headlight protector,knn air filter,side box etc. I am selling my touring screen if you want to.

guys u know where to get the cheapest tyre for our bikes?? other than LAB and HKL?? i mean dirt cheap... new but not second hand. Just gotten a rear pirelli tyre ,the tyre is bout 2 and half years old... hehehehe

honda is good for rec problem(easily gone case). since last time to now..this is their flaws.its just a matter of time that it is gone.

i suggest that u change the spring and do ya ya fork. the heavier density of the oil wun do much help.

tires for 2.5yrs? bro, pls change it.ya life depend on ya tires when its moving on the road. why take the risk

whats r the syntoms? or how long does the problem surface? 100K kM?

realli dunno...abit worry...

mine mileage is 85k..still ok..nothing much...except the gear abit loud..when changing...

further more would like to check with you guys is it normal for the bike to have the clutch slip so far away in the bike?

 

Anyway do you know where to get info on the interval for the servicing for the birds? Look through the owner manual didnt really specify much.

 

I want to know what mileage to replace the piston rings,gasket, etc. Something like the bmw service manuals.
