sped at kpe! help!

the government should enforce jail term for these hardcore type of people. just get license speed so fast. then they'll know how to ride properly, read sign boards, obey simple traffic rules.

 

makes me feel glad i rode a screwed up bike which cant go more than 100km/h when i was on probation. haha still, kena summon for tinted visor.

Just for info, I was caught on KPE camera going at 90 on my VFR. Letter came and clock me at 84km/h. No fine, just a warning (my first offence ever anyway). Camera at KPE-PIE exit.

 

Weird thing is, I was going at 90 before the whole KPE was complete and it was ok.

My bike oso cannot go so fast. But seriously, even when I first time step inside, see the speed sign and camerazone sign so many times. KPE shortens the trip from hougang to town, BUT it's like going through hell man. So hot, stuffy and cruising at 70 on the looooong road made me think, "wah when will this ever end". If too tired can sleep liao. GIves meaning to the adage, "light at the end of the tunnel"

me too, i will avoid kpe at all cost, tried once and that's it. Cruising at 70km/h is too torturing, hot & stuffy like hell. Hope the ppl up there can review this soon.

to be frank, i do speed at times.. BUT, at the right place, at the right time.. i understand very well the consequences.. i don't KPKB when i get caught.. i don't endanger other road users..

i know i'm not the only one..

what's da point of speeding in singapore? aiyooo...u juz got ur license doesn't mean can speed la...u still got e lack of experience, bear in mind since u didn't notice the signs. 100+km/h at KPE summor! dun waste your hardwork of getting a license. losing ur license is so much easier den getting 1. and dun waste ur precious life. cheers.

thanks guys for all the reply, yeah you would probably think what a dumb guy i am but hey i'm only human, mistake done. oh well i sped because so use to go 100 to 120 on the highway as i go back late at night after work when there's no cars. anyways will update if i get any letter if i don get!

my friend was like him mths ago when we 1st took his 2b.. the 1st time we did not saw the speed limit and nv notice and speedo camera and did not know it is install in the tunnel. he speed till 120km as usual and thou of slowing down when near to the camera. at very late night that there is no cars at all and dunno that the whole tunnel keep flashing is camera.. lol.. As usual for the 2nd or 3rd time during the day, a car in front of him travel at 70km, he feel it was very slow and take over him on the right and he saw a flash 'BOOM' lol.. then he was scare and ask around and just got to know the story of KPE.. lol.. but in the end till now i think he nv receive any letters.. gd luck and ride safe to all riders..

 

as usual, knowing the right time right place to speed and most impotantly do not harm others.

tell to the judge you don't know the law and see what the judge says..

 

nonetheless, all the best to TS. if get caught, admit ur mistakes. if not, treat it as a lesson learnt. who doesn't makes mistake in the first place?

A taxi driver, reported in the newspaper, didn't get his summon till 3 months later. Reason from the authorities - "it takes time to process".
