Therefore...do we need to go for tuning..nor end can or full system? :giddy: Does it affect the performance..by a bit? if the bike already tune? with or without..the tuning, is it the same?.....

sabbaha,

end can does not affect ur FC at all. Its only because after installing the end can, ppl like to open v-tec so sound nice nice, hence tats the cause of drop in FC.

after change end can, it is optional to go do tuning. If carb are nicely tune before, dont waste the money go retune just because change end can. Doesnt affect much either.

Bro u r using yoshi end can rite? After installed it, did u go for tuning? And how's the FC? 300+km? :smile:

No. End-can only do not need to go tuning. Stock header has a restrictor inside (told by Planet's ah chong) before the end can area so end-can change or no change the restrictor is still a choke point. The exhaust flow (back pressure) will more or less still be the same.

FC still can clock 25km/l if do not open VTEC at all.

If change full system then need to tune cos air flow will be different.

Was at Bukit Merah yesterday.. Spoke to one of the mechanics by the name of Ah Pui.. Hehe.. Yeah, he's a little overweight..

Cost for Jetting + Tuning is about $340 for the Spec III & it'll take a day to get it done.. Push in bike at 9am, collect at 6pm.. They have the dyno machine at their shop.. According to him, the tuning will ensure that the horsepowers are optimized for all gears thus the bike will not feel sluggish.. FC will definitely increase but the bike will be much smoother as the air flow/petrol flow will be consistent..

He can also increase the horsepower of your S4 but wear & tear will occur much faster.. Depends on what you want from your baby.. Long term viagra will cost cramps, no? Haha..

Cheers dudies.. :p

Both.

My definition:

Mod = for Performance

Makeover = for Outlooks

Xixy's definition is right. You can say a makeover also applies to your definition of modification if we were to go into technical details about the usage of the English language. Is there a point anyway in having to separate them so much? You are still doing customizing your bike in the end.

Thanks for e info...anyway, if a full system was installed but jetting and tuning was not done..how is it? Affect the performance? Will there be a big diff if the bike was not tune after installed the full system? Will there be anything happening to do bike or FC? :giddy:
