450 km with a full dyno and full system change? Kind of small a change when I consider that my current bike now does nearly 400 km on a full tank, and Spec3FBA's FBA Spec 3 does 430 on a full tank, and both of us are using stock pipes and stock systems. I have grounding and Revtec, I think he has neither.

Actually I think riding style will make a big difference. If you ride fast and furious, even with stock systems and groundings, your FC will be damn high.

By doing slow pick up and maintain speed at max 90km/h, I think it's possible to hit 450 even with mods.

Very true what you said.. The other day was "playing" with my friend riding a Honda 954.. Just like the Fast & the Furious sort of.. At traffic light, revving our bikes.. First few gears rev past 12k rpm.. FC dropped to about 280km only..

I think riding style influence the FC the most compared to modded parts.. My 2 cents..

:p

xixy: haha... i tried before too. FC drop like hell...

Guys, I got my fairings already... Heard 6.5rpm got his too... So when is the next meet up?

Well I already proved that it is FC with this little test I did, with the FC increased like that. I only blasted VTEC twice during this entire fuel tank trip. Usually ride around optimal cruising speed, which is 80-90 or maintaining at 90-95. What I am saying is the change with a full dyno and stuff is obviously not big since his FC is only a little higher in total mileage.

if u r hard on ur throttle, FC is definitely higher... cos twist more so more fuel combust.

but lets say cruising speed abt 100, slowly throttle till vtec open, still ok. if every gear drag till high rpm, then its high FC....

cheers...

6.5rpm:

xixy: ok. I'll try to make myself free on wed night. Red grills sounds good but dont dare to spray myself cos of the complicated structure. Scared screwed myself up. haha... Currently decided to keep the fairing simple w maybe 1 sticker only. Cos maybe I'm planning for a spec3... maybe... and design might be a total makeover. :cheeky:

Wen: Don't so kan jiong... wed you will get to see... haha. I don't mind if you join be to be the 3rd... haha

Sabbaha: Hope to see you on wed. Want to see your fierce windshield man... :bouncefire:

6.5rpm: try to get your fairings ready by then if you wanna go shop spray. Normally 3 days can get back.

Panther: Regarding the jetting and full system, personally feel that generally it's becos the bike feel more powerful and throttle feel lighter, thats why the rider unknowingly tends to ride fiercer. And thus the high increase in FC. Its more of a human factor rather than the machine. If the rider is sharp enough to understand that and tone down, I don't see why a good FC cannot be achieved. :thumb:

Wow.. Upgrading to a Spec3 I see.. Excellent man.. You'll love it.. Am loving my Spec III now for its smoothless & excellent handling.. And take your time with the paint work of your new wings.. Don't do a rush job & screw it up.. Take your own sweet time to get the colors right & customize the right stickers.. Perhaps, give your bike a nick? :p

And this time if you make it to the outing, keep your dog away from your gf's phone, can? Hahaha...
