Yes i'm on the xtreme tight now.....

but the luckyest thing is that my bike ran at least 20km/l

so now looking for a nearby job so i can cycle to work and save on the petrol and train on my stamina at the same time hahaha

it's lucky that most of the things are done before i got the axe

things like painners, top box, scottoiler and touring windshield. basic touring setup hahaha....

Nope Mine is Honda Original exhaust. was thinking to change but with no job and with side painner think i will give it a miss since its not that importance.

I see that introductions are in order. I am 47 yrs, married, 2 kids, Daughter in 1st year college at Delhi, Son in class 11 at Chennai. In fact was in Singapore last summer to check on colleges for my daughter but she didn't get admitted on even part Scholarship and hence decided to pursue Economics at St Stephens College, Delhi, which is the best in India.

My VFR is only a weekend ride with some friends on other heavy bikes but there in no other VFR in Chennai, the bike therefore is a traffic stopper. The traffic here is crazy on weekdays. Weekends we drive out of town at 6am & back by abt 10.30 after breakfast :)

Don't think I'll ever change from a VFR. Max will upgrade to a later model. The import duties and other charges into India work out to an extra 180% over & above the cost of the bike in Singapore, which is what kills us.

Cheers & happy riding

Roshan

Hey Roshan,

you're on a Gen 5 or Gen 6? Well, our neighbours from Malaysia are also having the same dilemma as you. They have to get an Approval Permit on imported vehicles, which basically bumps up the price of the bike by almost 200%.

Well, you're part of the niche, eh?

Consolidation of namelist for those who are still riding a VFR ,

reason being for easier relaying of any updates / upcoming activities.

Do update.

Ps. Those ex-viffers or Viffer wannabes are also welcome.
