I am back from PJ.

A 3 hour adventurous drive back this morning. Saw some really idiots on the North South high way.

nah... some usual old stuffs. Refuse to let you overtake. Tap brake when you flash highbeam and allowing the queue to accumulate. speed up when you overtake from the left. There will be loads of story to tell. But it was a good drive averaging with 160~200kph. Occasionally go up to almost 240kph.

well... you need to be able to drive fast if you want to stay ahead. But if you're going in a convoy, staying together is very important. Constant communication via radio networking is essential to ensure no one is left behind. It's the worst to enter with 10 but return with anything short of that.

I thought I said I don't like to go high profile in the car community? I don't really like the car owners group profile. If I were to type here, it'd be far from flattering. If I want to play track, it's either alone, trusted friends or Marcus Goh.

 

I was in Petaling Jaya for a 2 days break. Stayed in the Royal Star hotel during my recent business trip. Really like the hotel. Reasonably priced with their cheapest rooms going at only RM245/night, facilities and outlook presentable. And very importantly, it is situated in the less complicated part of Malaysia somewhere in the outskirts of KL. My gf had 2 days of non-stop shopping. Grilling on my poor legs walking around Star Hill and the Curve.

Reasonably priced with their cheapest rooms going at only RM245/night, facilities and outlook presentable. i felt more comfortable chatting with forumers here than my own car forum..

there's super a lot of flaming wars over there..

and it's frequently down.. but MO/group buys there are great to get accessories..

 

actually i also planned to drive up north during this month..

but sadly i got involved in a bad accident that left my car crippled in the workshop from 29th Nov till now..

hopefully can get it out by next week..

This is why the bikers community is knitted with less judgemental elements. And normally you don't find scheming materialistic girls in the bikers community. Bikers have lesser ego compared to solely car owners. Yes... really lesser ego.

You can still get vacant rooms? Yeah a lot of SG cars blocked me. But there're also Malaysian cars who tried to play catch up but obviously can't.

Royal Star hotel is Royal Bintang Damansara. It's in Selangor. But situated at the outskirts of KL.

Haha... very very political. It's the nature of car and biker owners. Normally those who despise riders/do not ride totally are amongst the lot. Cars are wealth icons. So it can attract the wrong type of girls who try to infiltrate the community when many wealth icons congregate. And guys who cannot think properly will be easily led by these girls. Don't be surprised that men in their 30s supposedly in their career prime with cars >100K are amongst these foolish ones. Or in many cases when wealth icons goes into the hands of immatured young punks. They end up boosting their super ego and end up wrapping the trees or lamp post. These are some reasons I will meet up with bikers but not even attend a single car community outing even after collecting market info. It's just not wise to get too close to high profile car owners.
