Like what jB said, steel braided hoses. I think you should go and service your calipers. Replace the oil and dust seals for your calipers, replace the Dot4, change into steel braided hose. Depending on your usage, if you are not brining it to track, you can choose the organic brake pads which does not wear off your brake disc as fast as sintered pads which have very much extended heat resistance that prevents fade.

 

Don't spend unnecessary money. Use the money for other uses like a vacation with your CO in Europe with a SLK on the Autobahn. :thumb:

what does a maf sensor does? how much does it cost typically?

 

for your car brain to read how much air is going in... so the brain can adjust according how much fuel to load in to match with it.

months ago i also have such problems, meaning with CEL light on sans jerking when moving off

same company just that different mech... is not due to hot air, like i say it might be due to MAF sensor or you didn't have a MAF sensor to begin with. i believe you didn't get that simota first hand right?

Hi, managed to find out what happened to my car via another forum. It teaches how to decode the CEL lights meaning and codes. Allow me to explain

 

1st With reference to this external link, i've managed to decipher the CEL codings

next up, switch on the ignition, but do not start. monitor the number and type of flashes and refer to the external link above.
