child seat still there.... so no chance of attracting young nubile chiobus...haha but 630i is not my dream car, it's an interim car with both form and function that suits my requirements.
Then remove the child seat. Every man deserves to live like a free man once in a while.

ya ya buy a TT and go GL shopping, they will stomp u like mad LOL!!!

Oh really? How do you know? Were you stomped in your STI when you were in GL? Who were you with that time? Confess honestly.

well  what do you think about the new STi hatchback?  depends on which Evo and which STi ;) I prefer Evos 5,7,8 & 9, STi anything before the hatchback :thumb:  I've seen Evo X kena tail by Evo 9 like its obstructing his path :cheeky:

You are going to lose your freedom in a matter of months. Don't assume that a 11:40 for your 2.4 will make you free from the ghastly nature of the dreadful conscription. And please, I hope you will never be tempted to sign on the dotted line for this well known 'orh tiam'. Take with a pinch of salt with whatever promises they make. Join the civilian sector after you leave the ditch and you will have a chance to speak from the same platform as Maverick. Stay in the hole and you can only dream about it. Some military technical jargons you should get yourself familiar with.

Chiong Sua = charging up the hill or doing anything vigourous. For example running from one point to another with the minimum of SBO.

Sign Xtra = going to the CSM office for this means you have some weekend dedicated for the camp prospectively.

Confinement = as the name suggests, you stay in camp. In addition, you will very likely be given entrenching tools to clean the drains.

SOL = Stoppages of leave; applicable to those who have committed serious offences yet the disciplinary officer had been lenient enough to not send the perpetuator into DB.

DB = Detention barracks. This is a short term boot camp to lose weight and look haggard with free haircut. The cost of this course is to make a blatant lie to your officer on anything. Then if it does not work, grab his collar and threaten to rearrange his face.

Armskote = Places where you keep your rifles. Or it may be some decoy to lead others to believe that arms are stored there.

Sign in the box = always remember to sign in the box. NEVER cross the line unless you feel like signing some Xtras or confinement.

Chow Recruit = if anyone calls you a chow recruit, it means you have not passed your BMT and you have not bathed properly for days. Go and shower yourself properly with soap and water. Not with the bloody powder that does nothing but merely masks your stench.

Knock it down/hit it = Please clap your hands and yell your company name. Then proceed to assume push up positions. Never ever commence push ups without the prior permission from the person who knock you down. And ensure you yell the numeric proceeds with vigour while you accomplish your push ups. Don't ask questions when you are told to restart from zero. It's either you didn't do it properly, someone in your platoon didn't do it properly or because you have an abominable face.

*hit it = in SISPEC, hit it actually means to go through your IA drills.

IA = during range when your rifle is jammed. Which means no discharge of live rounds depsite triggering. Yell "IAIA" and do your IA drill. Don't wait for the conducting officer to stop the whole range for you. Because no one will wait for you. Good luck for this.

Book Out = Only by the order of his majesty the CO and his royal highness the OC. The weekend does not mean you can book out. Your book out will be knighted by the holy book called the book in book out book. The favourite book held in highest regard by the whole company. Whoever loses or damages the book will instantly become the public enemy.

Company = Does not equate to Pte Ltd. This is the combination of several platoons.

Military language can sometimes be impeccably vulgar. Because when someone says that you are a $#@@@#$%$@#^^%@#$^$#^&*%%^, you are not allowed to defy, disagree or express any tinge of dissent. You are only allowed to say one word. "Yes sergeant" or "yes sir". The kaleidoscope of language is not going to be easy to swallow. But we either wallow in self pity, hoping for our mummy to write to the MP to save our sorry arse or we perservere and push through the dreadful 2 years and emerge a man. Submerged in mud yet untainted.

2 ikan bilis = CPL = coporal

3 ikan bilieis ! 5 ikan bilis = 3SG ~ 1SG = Sergeant

5 ikan bilis with a crab in the center = SSG = staff

6 ikan bilis with a crab in the center = MSG = condemned rank; waiting for discharge. He's a good inspiration why you shouldn't sign on.

The rest with the ranks on top are all 'sir'. Warrants and Commissioned officers alike.

Always address yourself as REC jB Ng. Never ever think you are some Mr jB Ng. When the sergeants tell you to walk slowly, don't assume that they are trying to be nice. Because it's an indication that you are about to get f*cked upside down. Don't ever walk in front of your trainers. YOu are only allowed to double up (run) or march.

Do you understand Recruit?! Har?! F**KING CHOW RECRUIT! YOU THINK THIS IS YOUR FATHER'S ARMY?!

Thanks... 6 years of life in there suffice. I am now a civilian. While typing this, images that took place in Delta Company BMTC2 Nee Soon Camp floods into my mind. I am glad the 6 years flew past quickly. It will for you too jB.

I am glad you understand. OK... now platoon watch it! serdia! keluar baris!

I just watched 'The Illusionist'. Edward Norton flawlessly plays the excessively intelligent Eisenheim. Through this movie, we see how the lack of humility makes one extremely susceptible to deceit. Set in the feudal Austrian background. The talented magician Eisenheim in a bid to flee with his childhood lover, Duchess Sophie played by the sexy Jessica Biel from the crown prince hatched an elaborate plot. The crown prince as a manifestation of an arrogant tyrant in the flesh fell for the well coordinated plan ended up entangled in his own transgression. He took his own life eventually when his treachery came to light. He had planned to commit treason by overthrowing his father prematurely even though he was already the crown prince. With an ego too big to conceal, coupled with perfidy equaled only with the worst of men and his poor management of restraining and containing his anger. Very quickly, he fell prey to the seamlessly devised conspiracy between the more refined Eisenheim and his childhood sweetheart Duchess Sofie. With such an intriguing plot, the fusion of entertainment and philosophy co-exists in absolute brilliance. An excellent show... so what's next? Public Enemies?

I don't need to address myself, the lower ranks will greet their General when they see him :thumb:

I was speechless when I saw a young WRX driver with a milo can exhaust and huge spoiler pumping air pressure at 380kPA for his tyres. I was dumbfounded when I found the conversion equates to 55PSI. He said he likes it 'hard'... I kindly remarked that the tremendously excess pressures can cause his tyres to explode. But he shoved me off by claiming I don't know anything. I laughed it off and walked away. I hope he will never have to experience it the hard way. :faint:

*248kPA = 36PSI
