For mine if i chg a VALVE CAP, yes only a valve cap. That partial warrenty void.

and its a >10yr car prolly with alot of owners.. prolly have to do up quite a number of stuffs...

 

 

eg is fun thou! light! relatively powerful, and uber easy to mod!

but even so.. i saw the egs with b16s/20s go before, wow! uber!

 

 

theres one eg6 (pink! i think) up for sale online, 14.5k!

If I were to buy an EG, it will be to buy it because it's a spartan car that's good for racing. And again... if I were to go for that, I will buy a Caterham instead. Because I need more than fast for a car. I need practicality.

 

Anyway our dear RavenSP is now officially promoted to FTR RavenSP. So he will need to spend more on the little one instead.

But given the history of the EG in Singapore, plenty of them are either half wrecked or black listed. There's a price to come if you wanna get a proper race car. Caterhams and Lotus aren't cheap.

Apart from performance, I need practicality. I am not sure what defines your practicality. But to me, practicality is so much more than just sitting 5 adults. I don't mind a 2+2 concept. But I need a modest boot space to keep at least 1 big luggage. Apart from that the required road safety equipments. Like electronic brakeforce distribution, dynamic stability control or ESP, servotronic function equipped steering, automated manual clutch pedal-less transmission preferably given today's standard a dopplekupplunggetriebe that transfers high torque >300Nm, a good engine, reasonable FC that achieves 11-14km/l with normal driving, abundant access to spare parts, technical info, ease of repair, a reasonable price tag at most in the early 100K region etc...

 

That's why none of the Hondas or even the Asian brands can give me all these. So I went to German. And will stick with German. It's all about market targetting. I happen not to fall in the boundaries of the targetted market. On the surface, people may think I pay more. But every cent counts. I believe in you pay for what you get. On the contrary, in terms of maintenance, due to my occupation, I am paying much lesser than my friends who own the similar cars. But of course, my situation cannot be applied to everyone.
