Although I must say, Bull did an awesome chase/poke backside with the person handling my bike.

 

On hindsight I really hope to get it by tomorrow in time for the meet up.

hmmm...brand new ones is about S$180.

but some shops are selling second hands at between S$70-S$80 as reported by them.

21st February 2009, was the 1st All-XJR Meet-up for 09. Meeting point was held @ Khatib MRT before taking dinner at Yishun Teh Tarik. Sweet!

 

There was 8 XJRs in attendees last nite. They were;

1. Bull aka xjrredbull & wife

2. yamamotomaniac & 7months old pregnant, wife

3. abangsham & gf

4. ayedrock & gf

5. boybulance & gf

 

3 new members

6. Herry aka pinky winky, on XJR400R

7. Leon aka BOWIE also on XJR400R

8. Mr Foo aka SPanrry on his monstrous XJR1300

 

After dinner and many glasses of teh tariks, we made our way to Singapore Flyer/F1 Racetrack to take pictures & chit chat the nite away! Sweeeeet!

YEEHAW!!!!!! NIE NOR!!! NIE NOOOR!!!!! BoyBulance in the house!!!!!!!! It was a gr8 meetupz gang!!! I was glad to have met BOWIE and SPanrry!!!! BOWIE is very friendly and out-going guy, cool chap, got along quite well with everyone.... Hope to c u around more often, bro.... As for Spanrry, he's our macho, cool big bro on his monstrous bike... the silent and respectable big brother... I LURVE his divvy panniers.... He was very helpful, even removed his panniers to show me how it was mounted... He almost left it at Esso.... kekekekekek!!!!! Anywayz, it was gr8 to c other races in XJR club... Hopefully there'll be more Chinese, Indians and ... ang mohs!!!! Then the many races can go for races!!!!! VROOOOOM!!!!!!!

I went to Ah Chong 525 the day after u went.... He said u dropped by, did ur tuning, etc.... Said that u did a helluva things to ur bike.... Saw ur old tyres, too!!! Neway, hope ur bike feels gooooooood!!!!! Coz that's wat my bike feels after a visit to Ah Chong.... I went to service my carb - it had to be washed 3 TIMES!!! It looked like it hadn't been serviced for the past 8 years.... Plus, my carb was also non-synchronised.....

 

Now, bike feels so much more powerful and smoother.... The beast idles at 1.5k revs and 6k revs in 6th gear at 100km/h.... Fuel consumption and top speed is up for testing, and i might be entering JB soon for a test run.... Keep u guys updated....

Changing the timing chain and top cylinder leaked a bit.

 

That day Ah Chong already pointed this out to me, but I need the bike.

 

Probably will send in on the 14th and he can take his time as I will be away the whole week.

Holy wacoal molly!!!!! The Fighting Spirits GUZZLES petrol like water.... It runs at about 15.5-16km per litre.... On the upside, it reaches my 'cruising' speed of 130-140km/h on the CTE/SLE quite easily...

 

1. Open the throttle

2. Ignore speed limit and other road users

3. Wait a couple of seconds

4. Look at speedo

5. VOILA!! normal 'cruising' speed of 130km/h attained
