There are more cooler mods, juz check out japanese websites on XJR...some of the riders there really are veri good at it...

 

Examples:

 

1. Full grounding of the whole bike with better wires/cables.

2. Addition of Oil Temp. Gauges.

3. Safety enhancement mods.

jus went for class 2a lesson 1 today at cdc and rode the xjr....realli an excellent bike...realli will like to buy the xjr when i got my 2a license......can anyone tell me where to get the best price for it and around how much OTR???? pls reply...thx

9800 otr is not bad.Guess shoould be wif 1st party insurance coz vtech is around that much now also.This is good news then.

yah...shiok...especially when practicing e-brake.... realli open it at first gear...but when 2nd gear have to relak liao...lol

i usually open it up at 2nd gear as well.. the brake is damn good.. u can go up to 50 and yet pass the e-brake easily...serious....make sure the TP luk at u and gives u a nod...keke.....

 

this bike is realli a gentle bike..very good handling...

yah..the brake is so good that during my first attempt at lesson 2...i always hit the rear brake too much(but actually is a bit onli)... and caused the rear wheel to lock and got a tut tut tut sound....fishtail somemore....but the bike realli good... although i nv realli ride a super 4 b4....i am in love with the xjr already......

i brake using engine...tried braking at 120km/hr in around 30m or so..haha

can brake in time..but the tyres sort of skid abit...safer to use engine brake..cos if i use my fornt n rear brake onli...might not be able to brake in time..the brembo brakes im using are gd..but brake pads sux..haha...

one ting to note is that..i realise xjr400 after goin above 9k rpm..the sound n power increase alot alot..=) not so much on 1st gear n 2nd gear..

but 3 gear start to drag can see the effect coming in...
