There is a reason why bike manufacturers install a rev limiter.

Bypassing the rev limiter means u are able to rev more than the max safety range on for bike.

Technically that means u can gain extra speed for the bal of the rpm range.

 

that means u will gain the extra speed only after passing that rev range and not throughout the range.

 

It also means that u bike will be subjected to extra amount of stress causing wear and tear at a faster rate then normal riding.

 

More wear and tear means more frequent oil changes and sooner engine overhauls.

 

U might as well get a bigger carb at the expesnse of fuel for more power at any rpm range.

Power on demand instantly.

 

 

Even with a bigger carb fitted..its power n torque range is still limited to the orig rev limiter..by over revving the engine..your engine will still suffer..by changing a cdi with a higher rev limiter and different torque curve..you gain power instantly at any rpm..not only after passing the range(rev limiter)....:thumb:

Yes..wave s has a cdi programmed for it..i brought in 2pcs for the forumers here...the cdi's of the DBS race team n Endurance race team are made by the API race engineering tech....:thumb:

no u dun understand. my bike is not wave s its wave I version

im asking whether there is cdi for wave I version like mine

if there is can u help me find out the cost?

Programming is done by me..wrong programming will definately spoil your bike..i have to see what mods you have done before i do the programming to suit your mods..:thumb:

mods like..big bore kits..eg 54mm or 58mm pistons..exhausts..sp carbs or fcr carbs u r running..etc..etc....the full blown stuff...

 

Guys..my thread on cdi's for sale in garage sales has been taken off as the mods deemed that Commercial products & services is not allowed in GS section..now waiting for site owner Andy's approval to move it to MO thread..anyone keen in the Redbull racing cdi's for spark135/X1R n X1 can still PM me your number to deal...:thumb:

Not ready..no ETA yet..they would rather develop a cdi that is lasting than rush out and face with a lot of problems later on..the first test is for the Wave one make race next month..if all goes well..u will get to see it in production...:thumb:

$110 diy..can tell u where to dismantle n fix..very easy only..lots of bros who bought from me did it themselves...

heres my reviews on the cdi...

 

ITS GREAT MAN. total improvement on acceleration. considering i'm big size and heavy, its great really to have that instant acceleration feeling, previously feel heavy to speed up and catch up when riding with friends on road... now no hassle. its a great investment... Thanx bro! Two thumbs up. Definitely recommend using it!

juz install de CDI bought from bro benjiyui. Acceleration indeed improve n every gear seems to hv increase in power. Shall monitor for few more days abt fuel consumption. :thumb:
