hi guys...i happen feel my outlet of the exhaust today...1 of the 4 outlet is not hot....wat should be the problem? izzit major...it just happen this few rainy days:(

One of ur cyclinder is not combusting well due to ineffective spark plug...time to replace your spark plugs set.

My spark plug just changed last week with denso iridium:( but sprayed water to check the hotness... While moving, the outlet is hot, but when idling, it's not combusting:(

If ur spark plug is from LAB..especially Iridium..u may have issue. Take out that cold cyclinder plug and check it. There are cases of plug shorting in use for less than a month.

(exhaust slider is a slider that fixed at a point near the top of the exhuast pipe,i am using it as my pillion 2nd foot rest haha, its to protect ur exhuast in the case of bike dropping

Spec 1 drain fuel from the tank using the theory of gravitational force, so cannot be ur fuel tank, i think is what ah pek has said, should be ur breather tube not connector properly that causes the inconsistent of fuel flow to ur engine.....

Because i found out a problem with my bike recently, my fuel indicator reaching around 2 bar my bike will start to have act like as if there's no fuel and will stall.

 

My mech told me is fuel pump. Could it be the problem?

Resistance measurement between the center electrode and ground measure between zero ohm's (shorted) and 2.5k ohm's would would be considered a short for a plug. Can be caused by engine running hot and causes a crack to develope in the insulator..usually due to a bad manufacturing lot of plugs or qulatity control? In short..no sparks, spark fouling and arching across chassis rather than the core & electrode.

Revo should have but not Spec 1. Problem could be your fuel kock internal fuel tubing partially clogged due to residues in your tank. You pump Malaysia petrol? Have the fuel tank emptied and clean.

i am wondering only when idling, my outlet is cold...but when i ride off, the outlet is hot and combusting...it shows that only when idling then the spark maybe not functioning well..so i just hope that its just simple spark plug prob...cox during moving..spark seem to be pretty fine to me...my riding was smooth and powerful:) thx ah pek...

U did not mentioned this clearly earlier..in this case..if u had done a carb servicing lately..it has to do with that carb for that particular cyclinder not sync with the rest or air/fuel mixture ratio either slightly to lean or rich. To verify this..u have to take off that plug to visually check for 1. rusty brown (right)..2) whitish yellow (too lean)...3) blackish or wet (too rich).

I do agree with u ah pek...it might be due to sync...I realli did a carb snyc..but problem onli came in 1 month later...but nevertheless...Ytd i was in the motortiam...haha...pple too many so nid to wait then i went home...they also mention it might be this prob.. ur truly a passionate man:)

Could be primary sporket gear worn or back wheel bearing koyak liao.

[Q] Dear bros, I am riding Spec I and had changed a brand new battery 3 weeks ago. I didn't ride my bike for 5 days and this morning when I wanted to start, the battery is flat and unable to start. Even push start doesn't work. Please advice what could be the problem and is it normal that few days didn't ride, battery will be flat? Thanks.

I bought the bike not long ago my full tank can clock 420. Then suddenly one day then fuel started to leak out from the carb I went back to the shop i bought my bike and didnt told me what happened.. Just from there onwards my FC gone very bad and then 2 bar the bike will start that.. How to clean fuel tank? (:

Also is the EO dipstick suppose to be together with the Cap? Because when i turn it out there's no dipstick so where should i see my EO?

I'm confuse..why leak from carbs..didn't the mototiam u bought from do anything..and if they did..how was the fault rectified?

Did the mototiam check the charging voltage (reading should be 13.5v dc at least) after changing ur battery. If ur bike got grounding done wrong..battery get discharge very fast and Vtec 1 require the use of a Yuasa YTZ 10s at least (190 Amperes) but if u use a bad one.just as bad as a Yuasa YTX 9BS (90 Amperes). 5 days is too fast. I suspect either ur rectifier or magneto coil is kaput or both..or just the rectifier connector. Go back to the shop and check with them again.

Try FJT at Rowell Road or Chiong Aik at Desker Road. They are advertiser here I think..ook up their tel No. & enquire.

S4 got no dip stick thus hv to tilt bike to view. Be careful of the CG of the bike else it will sleep on u.
