For every 7 pounds you lose, you gain one horsepower.

cool.

what suspension with good rebound rate will you recommend? the default showa not good enough?

From surfing sites. :cheeky:

Yes..default SHOWA is good enough but much much better if you have an extra spacer added to your current spring for better rebound rate and higher nitrogen gas level in your canister for better 'progressive' damping. Get it done at Teck Thye + refurbishing at $240.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

Alamak...didn't see this...

As long as got diagram should be no problem lah and can explain and direct you on the connectivity.

The additional things you need is length of reasonably high current wires in tow colours if possible, extension bracket in case the current mounting brackets are too space constraint and oso a "fuse cartridge". Its better not to use the stock relay from your S4..not meant to handle anything extra besides what comes with the bike. Some ppl make a seperate horn switch.

Bikeshop can easily charge you $50..with horn..$80+

You on side stand rite then you try to turn turn your rear sprocket. If it is moving then you knw why. Its the rubber bushing. Try it. You can go HKL not ex so dun worry. Forget how much.

But after you change there will still be sound. Its also due to front gear box shaft. This one i never change so cannot comment but i knw its the front sprocket shaft.

ya...but its getting louder leh...last time not so loud one..

The sound was made by the synchronizer, which consists of a cone clutch and blocking ring. As times go by this thing wear causing the sound, but for me,as long as can shift gear,up or down, and able to stay on gear even on hard acceleration or deceleration, then should'nt be a problem.

To soften the sound maybe you can change to slightly thicker oil.

Hi I am a S4 Revo rookie. Just OTR yesterday. Got some questions.

1. Why is it so hot during riding around the ankles, calf and inner thigh areas?

2. Can I use Shell Helix Ultra (meant for cars) for the change of engine oil?

3. Are tank bras, 3 point crash bars cheaper at Motorworld? Anyone roughly knows the price?

4. What the heck is a skod oiler? not sure whether i spell correctly.

5. Run-in is 500 km or 1000 km? Everybody like got different opinion.

6. lycan, where did u get those gif files from? The babe is fantastic!

sorry 4 the re-post but no one ans my queries.

Hi I am a S4 Revo rookie. Just OTR yesterday. Got some questions.

1. Why is it so hot during riding around the ankles, calf and inner thigh areas?

I guess it's normal for 2A bikes

2. Can I use Shell Helix Ultra (meant for cars) for the change of engine oil?

I think it's best to use EO specifically designed for bikes. Maybe others can give a more professional opinion.

3. Are tank bras, 3 point crash bars cheaper at Motorworld? Anyone roughly knows the price?

Tank bra starts at $160 if I'm not wrong. Not sure about crash bars. You can check out Unique's prices from the advertiser board.

4. What the heck is a skod oiler? not sure whether i spell correctly.

Scot oiler, a device to help you lube your chain automatically so you don't have to lube it yourself periodically.

5. Run-in is 500 km or 1000 km? Everybody like got different opinion.

You got yourself a new bike? The bike manual should explain more about this in detail to you right?

6. lycan, where did u get those gif files from? The babe is fantastic!

sorry 4 the re-post but no one ans my queries.

Hope the above helps. :)
