[Q] hai im riding super 4 spec 1 1998 version..im having problem with my bike..at first my bike rpm keep moving below 1 and stall at low speed..after a while the bike cant start at all..so i decided to change the battery but after changing the bike can start but the rpm still moving up and down and stall when im on low speed..i need yr advice on whats going on..thanks

 

you can try adjusting your idling rpm by adjusting the idling valve, if not you can check your air filter choked or not. if still can't solve you probably need to bring it to a workshop to check.

Hi bros im having some problems with my spec 1. My rpm dropped from 1.5 to 1 and when I hold throttle at gear one it will move slow move slow and cant feel the power of my vtec when open like normal only. Rpm also comes down very slow... urgently need help bro! Appreciated!!!

"It somehows redirects the unused voltage back to the battery itself"...it does not do that. What it does is provide proper and efficient electrical loading to ur bike for performance wise..that's better power cranking during start and better sparking when ur magneto coil does not provide when at higher RPM for older bikes or car. All this works well if ur bike body resistance is low and can be done by doing proper grounding.

 

It does help extend battery life to a certain extend like 2 or so months more provided ur bike has good proper grounding..especially older bikes. his item has been called by many names like voltage stabilser, impedance stabilizer etc..by their manufacturer but in fact, it's actually a CCA booster unit (Cold Cranking Current - represent by "A" for amperes as in current). Basically they are made of assembly of "Super Capacitor"..and the better ones are the one that stores more current up to max of ur battery CCA itself.

 

How to ensure proper grounding is done? Riding spec 3 with megaraizin stabilizer and recently installed voltmeter. Thx!

Get the people who knows and understand what grounding is about..not just anyone who just do what they call "point grounding". In actual practical installation config..the grounding replaces ur bike body earth grounding.

Hi Guys. My Revo when cold start, the rpm remains at 1k. it does not goes up to 2.5k rpm during cold start.

I will need to move off awhile to warm up the engine. Anybody having the same situation as me? Mechanic told me some spring has been taken out by previous owner. Is it the "idling spring" ?

Riding style : 4k-5k rpm change gear.

Fuel Usage : 20-23km per litre.

Everything seems perfectly alright just the cold start problem.

no idea.. have not change my brake disc yet. but i always use unique motor price list as a price check for anything i want to buy. you probably can do the same too

Hi Bros, Need a help here.

Recently my Spec3 having problem during riding, then suddenly speedometer drops to zero and same time loss of engine power difficult to rev over 5k rpm. It lasts for a few seconds and return back normal. This happens starting last week like few time in a day.

At first I tought it was speedometer cable loose, but it don't explains the loss of engine power. Any idea whats happening?

Try check your battery wire. Isit loose? Cause mine also was the same situation. At first my mechanic check my fuse everything n it was okay. And found out my black wire to my battery was loose

Hi all, I just got a second hand super 4 versionS. However anyone is selling the tank bra for this model? I need the ones with C clips in front to hold my Bagster tank bag.

the servicing depends on what brand of engine oil you want to change it can vary alot. also depends on what is called normal servicing. a 'full' servicing includes engine oil + oil filter + spark plug. so we can't really give you a price. you can check around the forum under the advertiser section for servicing package.

 

the price does not differ from models unless you are skeptical about the 0.2L difference during engine oil filter change.

Found out could be the vtec sensor is faulty and got it replaced, now still in process of testing and so far no prob.
