you won't "die" if you don't do a rejet. You can still continue to ride happily forever

 

but if you want PERFORMANCE, then yes you definitely need to do a rejet. Your air/fuel mixture is no longer optimum since you changed your air intake and output.

Actually, when your engine hot, then suddenly rain, then you stop at shelter immediately, then its not smoke. its steam (I'm not good at explaining it - you get what I mean?)

then that normal la...

 

Radiator cannot come out smoke one... no combustion.

 

check you coolant level a.s.a.p. - just in case.

Hi guys, any idea how much an OEM battery costs for Revo? Is $190.00 reasonable?

hi guys, ytd encounter a weird problem with my bike, when i riding, the speedometer will suddenly 2 sweep and den on and off den all my time all these are resetted.

Voltmeter recently shows a decrease in voltage when throttle, but when i didnt throttle there is no problem, speedometer wont off and on by itself. Bike still working all right.

 

Is it problem with my rectifier or magnetic coil?

No need to go shop. Look for a 'flower' like knob below your tank. Turn it to adjust your idling according

from idle , u rev , as rpm goes up, voltage should go up.. if it goes up and then drop, coil issue...

so i just want to ask what do i need to take note of for taking care of my s4?

what i mean is like do i need to refill coolant or 2t/4t to the s4 like how i used to do it to my sp? or those thing will be done when i go for servicing?

Hi...any1 here have extra bottom engine casing dat have EO drain bolt? mine crack...temporarily i use metal glue,but it cannot last long...hv to do special welding or change new/used 1...

Congratulations for owning a good bike!

Btw, this topic has been discussed before. You gotta search this forum for the answer from old posts/threads.

 

just in a nutshell,

1) S4 is a 4 stroke bike. no need 2t for normal use.

2) coolant flush every 12 months - no longer. if just bought, flush now.

3) tire sizing is different from the spec versions - yours is 110/70/17 front & 140/70/17 rear

- tire pressure is about 200kpa front & 250 kpa rear

4) engine oil is 2.7 litres (or 2.9 litres with oil filter change)

5) if I'm not wrong, your sprocket sizing is 15 front and 42 rear.

- lube it once in awhile. I suggest you use x-ring chains.

 

as to whether this will be done on servicing? well... you gotta specify what you want la... cos usually a good mech will ask you service "what"?

erhm... I dunno about that, but...

same thing happened to my brake lever, my mech says the brake switch was spoilt.

spent $18 at tachyon motors to change it.
